Santa Fe review

Overall a nicely appointed vehicle. Steering is too sensitive compared to most front wheel drive cars so it takes some getting used to. Don’t like the online app, but the car seems well made. The power is lacking a bit but that is to be expected. There is a lot of room so that’s Good.

Love my Santa Fe

This is the second Santa Fe to own. They drive very well and have a good bit of space. They are easy to park too. My only complaint is the rear air could be better. I’d highly recommend a Santa Fe to anyone with teens. The leg room in the back seat works well for them.

My Santa Fe Sport 2018

If you're looking for a fun car to drive, looks sporty, with plenty of room and comfortable features, this is the car for you. The Sport is quick getting on the freeway, easy to park, carries a large load with the back seats down and with the power seats gives you great visibility sitting up high. I drove many of it's competitors but nothing came close to the standard safety, full sound radio, apple car play, easy dashboard electronics, excellent gas mileage and amazing warrantee. I found The Sante Fe Sport to be the perfect car for me, not too big, not too small, it's just right!

Love my new car from Hyundai! Rides great, love all the features inside and out. Great gas mileage also. I would recommend a Hyundai Santa Fe Sport to all my friends and family. Took my new car for the first service and the staff was great.

Great reliable crossover. A lot of car for my money!

I love my Santa fe sport. I'm 26 years old who already carpools, take many family trips, and take my bike out with the wife, and Santa fe does it all very well! I do wish I had blind spot monitoring, as my sides are invisible, left and right, and I have to look over my right shoulder to switch lanes. Other than that, I enjoy my commutes, family trips, and hauling our bikes. I can't live without the Bluelink. I've let my 17 year old sister take it to her friends one night, and Bluelink texted me every stop she made, and what time she returned home. I love it! It's a great part of our family

What we think

The vehicle ? is everything we had hoped it would be and more. Ease of getting in and out of the vehicle ?. The phone quality of the calls you received. The room to the rear of the vehicle ? is much better than anticipated.

Love my 2018 Santa Fe

It has been quite a while since owning my last SUV but making the decision to go back to one was an easy one. This car is so comfortable, front and back, and the storage in the cargo area is more than just a big empty void. The cubby holes under the mat make it easy to keep small things so they aren't floating all over the area. The technology in the car is amazing. Even though our salesman showed us how to use many of the features I am enjoying figuring out all the little extras as I go through the book and push buttons. I will definitely be buying another Santa Fe when the time comes.

Santa Fe Sport

The special features of the car assist me getting in and out with bad knees and bum shoulder. Backing out and parking including parallel are so much easier with this vehicle in that good visual perception is built into the features. This is a very comfortable car for passengers as well as the driver. Gas mileage is good and the car is pretty spunky and does well on curvy and hilly roads.

Sante Fe Sport

I bought mine in May 2018 so far I've really enjoyed it. It's all wheel drive and its averaging 28 mpg runs great. It's not a powerhouse but for the normal driver it will do just fine. I would buy another one and highly recommend.

Great versatile vehicle!

I absolutely love my 2018 Santa Fe. I traded in my Elantra GT, which I really enjoyed driving, for the Santa Fe because I wanted something a bit higher off the ground and more cargo space. I like the versatility of folding rear seats that can also slide forward a bit for storage. I have a dog that occupies the back seat often (especially when we evacuate from our coastal home) and like that I can fit as much as possible. The ride is smooth, pick up is great and I love my panoramic sunroof.

Super Car at a great value

Has all the safety features of the more expensive cars with much less cost. The car is very fuel efficient and has plenty of power for much less money. The styling is super attractive and the paint shines like a diamond.

I wish it had more safety features like rear view camera should have a sound when someone or something is approaching too close and more usb plugs because there is none in the back for passengers . I have passengers in the back very disappointed because they had nowhere to charge there phone the had to use the one in the front one person at a time.

Great Value!

I love my Santa Fe. I’m very happy with my purchase and can only give you a few things that have come to my attention. I wish the headlights came LED. The lights are not as bright in the darkest of roads or highways. Also, I’d like to see the windshield wipers revamped. They are not effective in hurricane rain..yes, sometimes we have hurricane rain and I have to drive in it. I would also say they on both my Santa Fe’s the driver door opens in a way that makes me think it’s not aligned. I have had a hard time adjusting to the gas mileage which is worse than I expected. I wasn’t paying attention and read the combined highway and road mileage instead of the separate mileage listings. I have the turbo and it’s less than stellar on gas. I do love all the options that I have as compared to the other competing models. There isn’t an option that I wish I had. I love the panoramic roof, the heated/cooled seats and my favorite the 369 camera. This car has a good amount of cargo space and space for passengers in the second row is really accommodating. I also like the blue link and I use it a lot but I would like to see them offer a discount when you subscribe to multiple features. I would also like to see the come with rubber mats. This is a family type car and kids destroy everything in their path or wake..I like the instrument panel and I infortainment system, however, some options are difficult to find and I think it could use some tuning to make it more intuitive. I had service people have trouble finding things like language.. a simple setting but not so simple to find. It would be nice to personalize the screen for instance, change color or font size and change options. Pandora vs. Spotify.

Traded a Tucson which we loved to get more room. Love this car also. This is our 3rd Hyundai. First Hyundai was a 2012 Sonata. Wanted all wheel drive and more ground clearance. Guess we like Hyundai. Would buy again.

Outstanding vehicle

This is not my first rodeo with Hyundai. In fact I have purchased 7 Hyundai’s from the same dealer, so I already had an expectation of quality, comfort and reliability. We had traded my daughters 2009 Elantra for a 2014 Santa Fe in 2014 and she loved it. I was still driving a Sonata but I wanted something with a hatch for easy loading and unloading, (I won’t say I needed more space because the Sonata has an amazing trunk space!) and also for carrying taller items like furniture. So at that time I decided to try something new and got another brands wagon with a hatch back. I will call this the S car. I HATED IT. It was uncomfortable, didn’t have the features I had come to expect with Hyundai and was a rough ride. My husband hated it even more. So, back I went to my dealer, tail tucked, and traded in for a 2018 Santa Fe. Ahhhh...:) Comfort, mileage, styling...what had I been thinking?! I’m so happy to have all the latest and greatest safety features, comfortable multi adjustable seats, heated AND cooled; the heated steering wheel and the panoramic moon roof! Not to mention the handling is great, tight turns, smooth ride. I love the interior styling, as everything is where it should be, and there is a place for everything. The sound system is fantastic and I love the Apple Car play. I use the navigation a lot and it is the best I ever had. The interior is as comfortable as my Sonata, but the height of an SUV, which my husband prefers. So much better than the “S” car! Easy open and close hatch (push button) and lots of room with easy to flip down seats. Rear seat comfort is great too and my passengers enjoy heated and reclining seats as well. The best thing about my Santa Fe though, as in all my Hyundai’s, is that it starts every time. In all the Hyundai’s I have owned I have never had any issues. I change the oil, get the recommended service and rotate and replace tires as needed. That “S” car I tried broke in the first 60 days and the manufacturer denied coverage under the warranty. I’ll never leave Hyundai again! In fact hubby needs a new car and we are trying to decide whether to get another Santa Fe or a new Sonata. Thanks Hyundai for making great cars with top notch safety and tech at a great price!

Love car wish we would have gotten one with the blind spot Monitor . Other than that have been very happy with car. Love the sport mode for in town driving. Gives it the pick up and go when u need it

Nice vehicle!

Truly like the vehicle but enjoyment is tarnished by unresolved vibration issue. Will certainly give it five stars when service department resolves vibration issue. Next week it will go in for it's third try. Unfortunately now approaching lemon law decision...
