Hyundai Sonata 2006 SE
It's an OKAY car. I only say this because I bought it with 130,000 miles on it. If this car was brand new, out of the box it would do its job 99%. I was on a 3 hour road trip, all highway and my entire 4C engine EXPLODED. The timing belt is TRASH SAME WITH THE CHAIN. Worst engine EVER. I'd rather ride a bike. Now, the car itself, it's good! Loved it, did its job, took me to work a mile down the street every day. Tires stunk too. All four where differnt brands and popped like pop rocks. God. The heating and ac was like breathing in toxic fumes. Ugh. But hey, like I said it's a GOOD car, for a first time driver id recommend it. Although, I have a life so I go on trips. The time my engine exploded (literally smoke and saudered mettallic parts inside my engine) the dealership I went to ( Concord car care, concord New Hampshire. Never go there they are SCRAMS AND SCAMS ) charged me 2,000$ for a replacement engine. 2,000$. I'm poor, I don't have 2,000$ so I had to tow my butt home in the middle of a nor-easter blizzard. Worst day of my life I would have much fathered walked. The inside of the car is a Lego set. You touch one thing, it all falls apart. I got angry and punched my front ac vent and it broke so my car now looks like it was made in Brockton. Getto as F. But, after I hit a deer the car took it like a complete wuss. It just broke period. Broke. But I fixed it and my hood still presents a dent the size of Kim kardassians rear end, and I had to order a WHOLE new right side fender which was 10000000 dolars. Bought the car for 5,000, and the fixes I put in to it was over 7,000. So I ended up paying more to fix the car then the actual car was worth. Just sold it for 2,500. I feel bad for the poor sport who has to drive that beater after I had it HA! But the cloth seats are great, very comfortable but if your on a long trip you'll be tempted to just fall asleep and end up like Paul walker ( R.I.P ) I slept in my car for a night, so comfy, but my contacts molded to my eyesockets and I cried myself to sleep again in that seat. My tears are still inbedded in it to this day. HUGE trunk great for storing dissisembled bodies haha jk, it's great for storage, the seats come down too! Just I case you need to store 2x4's in your trunk to build the twin towers again or something, idk why would I care! Rims are actually nice though! They look great, expecially with the sonata in black, but the rust is like an old farmers toilet pipes so beware. Let's see.... Ahhhh the headlights fog up like glasses in a bussboy's kitchen, but hey, for 40573 dollars you can unfog them. The breaks are worse then a bikes, and I rear ended someone bc of that once ( Oopps) but the gas mileage is great, that's one good thing. Windshield is foggy as a horror movie set, and the break lights break more then an old 98 year olds bones. The steering wheel is as cold as the day after tomorrow movie, and on the highway your better off riding the back of a bus with a skateboard. I'm telling you the acceleration is terrible, I feel like some belt is going to fly off and cause a final destination event if I stomp that gas. But hey, good first car and it got where I (almost) needed to go. Except for the fun in that, the car just made me mad EVERYTIME I talked about it. Just stinks. But if your buying it good for you, it's like hand me down clothes, if your not careful, they might rip. Hyundai Sonata has come a long way since 2006 though, I just bought a 2017 and it's the best decision I've made. Wow the 2006 though, ha good luck!
