Sonata Review

My 2009 Sonata has surprised me with the longevity of its parts. For example. the vehicle has about 77,000 miles and has yet to need new brakes. The only part that has failed was the right rear bearing and it was fixed under warrantee. In summary I am very satisfied with the reliability of the vehicle and the performance of the service department. The 100,000 mile warrantee was one of the reasons I purchased the Sonata in the first place, and it continues to provide peace of mind over time.

Exceptional Value

I have had 3 black Sonatas since 2001. They are good looking and reliable. The price is always lower than comparable brands. I would probably buy another one in the future.

Best Car Ever!

Over the years, I have owned many cars from many car manufacturers. My 2009 Hyundai Sonata has been the best car ever! I bought it new in 2010 and have never had a mechanical problem in 6 years. It drives like a dream. I'll put it up against a luxury car any day!

I have received great service owning and driving the Sonata. Only one major repair - comprehensive rear brake repairs (both sides). The car is sturdy and rides smoothly. I'm enjoying it.

Best decision

Excellent vehicle. I thought I overpaid, but NO. It's actually worth it. Clean vehicle with no scratches. It's been running smooth for almost 2years/20,000 miles. I highly recommend to purchase your vehicle with keyhyundai.

Great vechile, CD problems that are to expensive to repair.

The vehicle has been great but the cd player will not accept and play CDs, minor problem but the wife is unhappy.

Sonata Blessing

We purchased our Sonota in 2009 because we needed another new family vehicle. We didn't want to have to have payments but were definitely in a bind with older vehicles. We looked at several, test drived probably 4 different cars, but this one was the best for us. It's a comfortable, mid-sized car that looks and drives great. It also had the 'alternate version of shifting' so I can 'pretend' to have a manual system...my husband is handicapped so we could not consider a manual and this was the perfect solution. We have taken multiple road trips, love the fact that the seats fold down to open the trunk space (very handy on a project or two) and the dependability has been perfect.

My first brand new car the best choice I ever made was Hyundai of I.E. The most dependable car!! 106,560 miles ..synthetic oil all recommended check ups the service team takes care of Biz!! I could not be happier!

Bang for your buck

As a frugal car shopper I greatly appreciate the value of the Sonata. This is our second one and we are very happy. Our first served us well for 100,000 trouble-free miles and we are on track for the same with our second. There is a good deal of competition for cars of this size. I do not want to spend more than I need for features that I need and the Sonata provided everything I wanted in the base model. Cars are a depreciating asset and I feel it foolish to spend tens of thousands of dollars more for a car that will eventually be worth very little. I like to buy a new car, drive it until the wheels fall off and replace it. The Sonata is very reliable and provides a very good return for your money. If you want a prestige name plate, a high performance car, or prefer to trade in frequently for the latest technology then perhaps the Sonata is not for you. It is simply the best transportation you can buy without breaking the bank.
