Nice looking, comfortable car that is too expensive to maintain
This good looking, comfortable car has often been a pleasure to drive. In the beginning years of ownership the maintenances costs per calendar year were $39.89 (not 12 months), $490.09, and $984.52. The slope remained steady ($1299.1, $1067.81, $903.14) until the 7th year when it was $2599.78 and this year it is on track to exceed a total cumulative cost of $10,000, in less than 8 years of ownership. I am not sure if the "build quality" is the factor responsible for lower "value for the money." However, it is not likely that I will drive this car for 250,000 miles as I did with my Dodge minivan that was a better value for the money.
