Love It!

I love this car! Great on gas too! I bought it brand new and it rides very smooth and it is great on gas. I recommend this car to anyone who wants an efficient vehicle. It's also a good looking car!

2011 Hyundai Sonata

I've have nothing but issues with this car. 2011 and only 66000 miles. I've had 6 recalls, a new battery and a new starter. Other issues as well. I'd never buy another one and I would never recommend this car to anyone else

I have had my car for 8 years and have been very pleased with it ‘s beauty and style. It is very comfortable . I have had little or no problems with operation. I have been told that it looks like a luxury car. It fits my personality.

Long term 2011 Hundai Sonata Hybrid Review - revisited

After 8 years of driving this car we still love the car. The only issue we had with the car was a defective rear shock that was replaced under warrantee. The car has excellent mileage for a large sedan consistently providing 32 mpg in town and between 42-48 mpg on the highway. The car is solid, comfortable and well designed. The is a small amount of highway noise but not enough to be bothersome. The only drawback is the placement of the battery in the trunk which limits the number and size of bags.

My great Hyundai

The vehicle is dependable, fuel-efficient and fun to drive. No problems at all at 75,000 miles. I am keeping this one for a long haul. It’s also quiet and easy to maneuver. Its interior design is modern and attractive.

Overall Assessment

Always loved this vehicle with the exception that it uses oil. Never able to discuss this with the dealership even after repeated calls.I would certainly consider buying another one but I would need assurance that the power train issues have been fixed.

Performance

I'm not interested in all the features like phone, SiriusXM, etc.. I'm after performance, and I'm very happy with it. Good thing for cruise control, or hard to say how many tickets I'd have! So far, I'm keeping myself out of "trouble".

Great handling and gas mileage

This '11 Sonata had been my wife's car before I inherited it after she got her '17 Sonata. [Note: She had liked the car so much that she just wanted an updated version of it.] We normally try to keep our vehicles at least 10 years before upgrades (i.e. she gets the new one, I get hers and my car gets donated). We've never had any major problems with the car and on long trips our gas mileage still ranges between 32 to 40 mpg, depending on road and traffic conditions. Before upgrading to the Sonatas, we previously had 2 Elantras, which were passed down to our daughters while they were going to college. All very dependable cars.

not what i expected

starts off strong and doesn't maintain it over the long haul Lots of recalls and the suspension does not hold up had to replace brake parts a couple of times mpg is nit what i expected, not even close to stated mpg

Wonderful car.

This a well built car. Hyundai should have left design alone, and not changed it, for 2015. I'm going to drive my car, until the wheels fall off. I plan to also by a Sante Fe. That's also, a very nice vehicle.

Quality

I absolutely LOVE my Sonata!!! Just enough space and its loaded with excellent "amenities!" The color is just as unique as I am, so right off top I fell in love!! Although I bought it used, its very low in miles, the upkeep on the vehicle is wonderful!

2011 Sonata

This is my second Sonata, I have a 2004. I love the style / comfort of the car along with the great gas mileage. The grandkids love the fact that the back seat has seat warmers for them and not just the front. Love the 6 disc player when you can't get reception on the road. Truck is roomy for all of the luggage on trips. Big plus is the ability to change from an automatic to a standard in bad weather - Great to use when it is snowing. Since I purchased this vehicle, I had 3 other people purchase a Sonata since they liked the way mine drove / rode along with the style in the way it looked.

I love my Hybrid !

When I bought my new 2013 Sonata Limited I have loved my car from the beginning, there styling , looks , performance , comfort and fuel mileage. And that from a person who also has had quite a collection of classic cars from the 50's, 60's and 70's {mostly GM, - - Chevy. Pontiac and Buicks.) Then when I was trying to find a nice car for my son, my Hyundai salesman said Bud, I've got a Sonata Hybrid with just 20,000 miles you would like. So I bought it too, and I love 40 to 50 mpg, and the BluDrive system. In short I love both my Sonatas.

This car has been reliable and continues to turn heads

This beautiful car drove me through 283,000 miles all while getting an average of 40 mpg!! I bought it for my commute and was not disappointed! I had few issues which were promptly resolved. Love it!

Stay away from the 2011 Sonata

Loved the car at first but this model is inherently flawed. Lost count on the number of recalls I have had it in for, now a new engine. Covered under the warranty but a 2011 should not have to have a new engine. What next??

Hyundai Sonata

I love my new car. It’s larger than my usual vehicle but I’m sure I’ll adjust to the size in no time. Good job on this model, the limited edition is very nice! It’s a used 2011 with 30,000 miles on it.
