2011 Sonata

I’ve owned my Hyundai Sonata for all 120,000+ miles. It’s still stylish, sporty, spacious, good on gas mileage, and a smooth ride! Parts and service are affordable too. The only issue I have had is the low profile rims. They look awesome but are easily scraped if you aren’t careful. And there are many potholes in my area so I have had my share of flat tires, including one right now. That could also be my driving but I thought it was worth mentioning.

MUST HAVE...

This car is one of its best and actually put Hyundai in the limelight. this car was awarded the "car of the year" in 2011. Very economical, stylish, great looks, good mileage, low maintenance, good power, good warranty for the car. I love this car. It runs very smoothly and I have driven it all over the country. I would recommend it.

Always something wrong

Something is always on recall. Wished I had researched more about this car before I bought it. Always research your car before purchasing. Can’t wait till my loan is all paid up so I can get rid of it.

2011 hyundai sonota limited

Love my sonata it has been a very reliable vehicle. The only complaint that I have is that the passenger seat sits very low. Every time someone sits there they try to find a way to adjust it. There isn't one.

Best vehicle made

The Sonata is the most dependable car I have ever owned. It is very reliable, cost effective, and as long as you do regular maintenance your Sonata will take care of you and make sure you reach every destination safety.

Review of 2014 sonota hybrid

I really like this vehicle except for the MPG. It has never gotten the 35 MPG City and 40 MPG highway. Hyundai was reimbursing us a few years ago as we are not getting the MPG as stated, however, it stopped. That did not sit well with me.

I love my car!

I had only owned pre-owned vehicles before my Hyundai Sonata. I would have loved to drive a new car but thought I couldn't afford one. I found the perfect solution when I went to test drive the Sonata. I also drove another model but found the size of the Sonata to be perfect for me. I found myself leasing a beautiful and comfortable automobile at a very affordable monthly payment. I loved driving a brand new car, and it served me well for the three years I leased it. I bought the car at the end of the lease, since I knew it was dependable and it still looked like new. The stylish and sleek lines make it look like a new car. I continue to drive that same car, now 2 years later and intend to do so as long as I can - but I know when I have to change, it will be for another Hyundai. Everyone who sees and rides in my car comments on how quiet it is, and how comfortably it rides. The trunk easily transports all I need to carry. I love the tech features like talking on the phone hands-free. I tell everyone I know that this is the best car I've ever owned.

Sonata is the perfect size for all I need to do. Holds five people comfortable enough, huge trunk(Great for yard sales and luggage) love all the features Bluetooth, heated seats. Could use an extendable sun visor

Excellent car

I absolutely love my Sonata... easy on gas... nice feel for the road... and roomy... I love the exterior and interior. Big trunk and all... xm radio is a plus.. love the updated systems were it'll tell you if you have low tire pressure as well... over all a good car

i really love my hyundai sonata, great driving car. I'm going to keep my car as long as it runs and get me to where i want to go. I'm also ready for another Hyundai; but this time I want a truck. it's coming soon just as soon as I get over this mild obstacle. Very good car.

Too Many Issues

I purchased this car brand new and I thought I was getting a quality product and all I got was a bunch of problems. My steering coupler tore up, the pigtail that operate the head and tail lights are out on the passenger side of the car and now it is making scraping noises when I turn the steering wheel and press on the gas peddle. I can't take the car to the dealership because they charge $50.00 just to look at the car, they also over charge for all repair services and they give false information about what repairs are needed so that they can make more money. The customer service department is useless and they have never provided me with any help. I will never buy another Hyundai nor will I recommend this car company to anyone.

Overall car and service.

I purchased my 2011 Sonata when they came out in the fall of 2010. I love it. It is the best car I have ever owned. I am still discovering unique things about this car. Will definitely buy another Sonata when I want to buy a new car. Thank you.

Numerous repairs

the car was in for repairs (all under warranty) numerous times. In 2014 (Jan 20-Feb 20) the car was in the shop because it would not start and the mechanic could not find out the reason, a mechanic/engineer was flown in and found the problem. Since 2016 minimum repairs, they seem to have the bugs fixed. Most of the repairs were little things like key fob quit, antenna quit, short in brake light, et al ad infinitum. This is my 9th Hyundai/Kia and I know it is my worst Hyundai. I am getting a Santa Fe diesel or a Sorrento (if they go diesel) next and hope it is put together better than this hybrid. The total spreadsheet mileage is 50734.2 Gallons used 1981.174 Miles per gallon 25.60814951. Hyundai gave me a $1221.36 check five months after I got the car, this was because they knew the mileage was not up to the level advertised. I like the car now that it is fixed but the first 4 years were difficult, I always got a loaner car from the dealer when the car was in for service.

Piece of S----T

In the 50 years of driving and car ownership this car has been the worst car I have ever owned. It has given us more trouble as well as loss of our time then any car we have ever owned. We have had a number of serious problems. We had the engine replaced, there was a turbo booster problem, any number of recalls and we only have 74,000 miles on a 2011. We have requested this car to be replaced by Hyundai on a few occasions which always falls on deaf ears. We have owned a Hyundai since 2003. We can tell you how upset and frustrated we are with this car. We have also lost a huge amount of trade in value do to the publicity surrounding the 500,000 cars that were recalled do to the engine failure which one of which was our car, thank you.

A review of my Hyundai Sonata

I bought my Hyundai Sonata based on my two children in November 2010. Since then, I have been using my car on a daily basis to take my wife to her agency, to go shopping, and to go visit my relatives as well as my friends in different location. Some of them live near us in Northern California, a few miles where we live. Some of them live as far as 500 miles in Southern California.. I had always driven and there weren't any problems. For maintenance and services, I have always made appointments with Nicholas Parks Hyundai KIA in San Leandro. Unfortunately, I did have some bad experience with their staffs and I once went to another services provider in Fremont. Then, I came back to Nichols Parks and got very good services.
