Hybrid Hyundai

Love our Hybrid. It is a 2011 and still runs quiet. Very comfortable except for the passenger side seat. Lower than the driver side seat. Wiper blades do not seem to work well even though we have had them replaced several times.

Car review

The service at Palatine Hyundai has been wonderful. I however would never get another Hyundai again. The short amount of time I have had my car, it has been recalled more times than I care to mention. In the first year I had the car I had to return to the dealer for a broken radio, ceiling light, back done stuck closed. So no I would never buy another one again.

Dashboard

As I stated below I am very disappointed in the quality of the materials used in the dashboard of this vehicle. To have a dashboard get destroyed throgh no fault of my own is very disheartening since we have sevral Hyundai's in our family.

Wonderful car

Love my Hyundai Sonata. It looks good and drives well. Highly recommend it for someone looking for value and style and comfort. Hope the newer models are quieter as far as road noise. Very pleased.

Great car before and after new engine

Great car for 127000.00 mile had to replace engine under warranty and it’s still going strong. Plenty of room and excellent fuel economy. Most car for the money you can find. I will definitely go back to Hyundai when it’s time to replace my Sonota.

2012 Hyundai Sonata

Vehicle has been reliable and a pleasure to drive. It has been free of defects and has never left me stranded. The interior has held it's appearance and comfort thru the years. In many ways it still feels like a new vehicle. If I choose another sedan, it will definitely be a Sonata.

Nice size car and great on gas mileage

I was hesitant to purchase the car but found it was one of the best decisions I made. A great looking, reliable vehicle. I few items needed to be worked on but overall value is great. I love my car.

Good automobile

I have had this sonata since 2011 and it has been very reliable car. It has good gas mileage and comfortable ride. I didn’t have any problem with it other than couple of factory recalls. I would definitely consider Hyundai brand for my family’s next car

Great car

The very first day I bought this car, I really enjoyed driving it. People approached me in parking lots asking what it was and how did I like it. Since this was the second Hyundai for me, I expected it to be a good car. I have had it since 2011 and loved it . Hyundai broke the mold and was first to produce an actually beautiful car. Great styling (no worn bar of soap shape) and a stunning red unmatched by any other car make.

Best Car

The 2011 Hyundai Sonata is the best car I have EVER owned. I am 64 years old. So obviously I have had a few cars up to now. This is my 3rd Hyundai in a row. I started with an Accent. Reliable, Affordable. Low maintenance. Next, I stepped up to the Elantra. A few more creature comforts. Now I have the Sonata. Everyone that has been in my car comments on the smooth ride, the roomy cabin. It has over 140,000 miles and runs like Champ.

Customer service after the sale.

I am a very satisfied customer on the after the sale service and updates performed on our Sonata. Service and updates were completed in a timely as promised time We were provided a loaner car while car was in service dept. We received our Sonata back fully serviced and very clean. We are very satisfied with Dustin and the service department for repairs and updates.. We are so pleased with their expertise and professional concerns and ensuring all repairs and car needs would be competed. Thank you Dustin and service department.

Mass produced vehicle, rushed, basic, too many recalls, uncomfortable and low front passenger seat. Engine Problems, Steering Problems, Interior Accessories Problems, Lights Problems -- lights have to be replaced often, AC / Heater Problems, the car doesn't seem to do all that well on fuel. Reliable car after after recalls

Mid-size with a full-size feel.

The 2011 Sonata was the first with the new body style. The appearance was appealing. The interior is rooming and has unbelievable trunk space. The car has great handling ability, it really hugs the road. Has good pickup for a 4 cylinder and also good gas mileage. The only complaint is the road noise but for the price the car was a great buy.

It's OK but I don't think I would buy another one, The performance has, generally, been acceptable and I have always been treated professionally The car just didn't live up to my expectations. -- but, maybe that's just me.

Reliability

The car has been pleasurable to drive and look at. But... After the warranty expired there are far too many things beginning to fail and they are expensive. There have been 4 or 5 recalls also that are a bit concerning about craftsmanship and engineering.

Horrible

Very bad car since day one. Many recalls, falling apart. Overall just a very bad buy. Engine replaced, and many other parts. Now i understand why it has a good warranty but it ends to soon for all the problems the car has.

Nice, comfortable ride with decent gas mileage!

My wife and I have been satisfied with our '11 Sonata Hybrid! We have a model with many extras, which adds to our satisfaction. Our transmission just gave out at 69K, however. We were lucky that our dealership gave us a new transmission for FREE! Yay!

The Hyundai Sonata is reliable and good looking car . It’s gets great has mileage as well. My 2011 has a 145.000 miles on it and is still going strong . I liked it so much that I bought a 2017 Sonata. You can’t be the warranty they offer too
