Lots of recalls

I am on the fence about my Hyundai Sonata. It has had a lot of recalls which have been repaired by the dealer at no charge. Thankfully, the warranty was extended which took care of the repair to replace the computer in my car just last week. Otherwise, it would have cost $1013!! Five months prior in July 2017, my starter went out. I barely missed the warranty and that was almost $700. I used to own an Acura TL before my Sonota, and I think I have spent more money on the Sonata than my Acura. The front end of the car is designed too low and always scrapes driveways and the blocked curbs at parking lots.

This has been such a good car that after the oil change I went to the sales dept. And bought a new 2017 and kept the 2012.

It's Great!

I love my Sonata 2.0 Turbo, from the color to the spoiler. It's a great look, especially at night with the fog lights. I like the ability to operate the brightness of the dashboard. It's a comfortable fit for a road trip and is good on gas.

Perfect is the ability to keep going.

The only thing that will make this car greater will be wireless charging and heated stirrings with the option to heat my cup holders during the winter to keep my coffee warm but I can engineer that in.

2012 Sonata

I couldn't say enough about this vehicle. Bought this car new in November 2011 and it has been great. Still fun to drive. Turbo is the way to go for sure. The best car purchase I have ever made. This car has had no issues, only expenses have been tires and normal maintenance. Would purchase another Sonata once this one is ready to retire. Based on the performance may be a while before that will happen. :)

Love my Hyundai

I bought it new with a 100,000 mile or 10 year warranty. Just had my 90,000 mile check up. It has been fun to drive. Great gas mileage 35+ on highway driving. My husband insists on taking my car in long trips because of the gas mileage compared to his Honda CRV. I drive 50 miles round trip to work. I plan to replace it with the same car. My husband convinced his 88 year old mother to buy a new Sonata. She loves it.

Sonata Sonata Hybrid

We love this vehicle but don't understand Hyundai, did not have automatic seat settings for two different drivers like most other cars. I will never buy another car that doesn't have this feature. Other than that it is probably the best car I have every own, and at age 72 I have owned quite a few.
