Routine maintenance with a particular problem of a light on driving panel.
We bought our car used with only 19000 miles on it, Enterprise Car sales gave us a good offer so we took it. Ever since we bought the car on 2013, we had made the decision that no other service department would surpass a dealership one as they would know our car better than any independent service companies. I'm the one that usually takes the care to be serviced a Harbor Hyundai, the deal is that they suggest the mileage or date of service, and I take it in as closest to the recommended date as possible. For the most part, every time I have gone in for service to my car, there is always someone there to greet the customer and they start on the preliminaries right away. It should be noted that appointments are made at my convenience online, and the fact that my car is registered within the Service Dept. section, makes it look like my car matters and they take care to know who I am. The lounge area is as nice as can be expected, there is free coffee, donuts and also customers have access to the cold beverage and snack machines if preferred. There is an estimate on how much to expect to pay, and with few exceptions the bottom line is what the estimate usually is. I would recommend that an appointment be made prior to taking in your auto, because although your car will be accepted for service, the wait time may vary as I assume that the technicians will first do the appointments cars first, and squeeze in any surprise arrivals. One final note regarding the Service Dept.... One day when I had a change in the license plate from a regular to a disabled plate, I didn't have the tools, and my disability would have made it difficult to attach the plate to the car. I drove in un-announced, the Supervisor was in the area, and accepted my car for the preliminary check. I informed him that I had just received a new type of plate for my car and asked if someone could help me with attaching it. He without a word, went and got the tools necessary to change the plates on my car, and it was done in 5 minutes. Those kinds of extras do not go un-noticed, and make it a point to go to the place where a dealership Service Dept. is there to help even if at times it may be for free...
