SONATA GLS

This is a great car. I bought it used in 2015 and it had (38000 miles) and it now has 69000. I love this car, very stylish, get up and go, especially up a hill. It drives better on a smooth road. It seems like the car is off balanced. I always do a lot of alignments. I thought it was only my car, but I test drove a newer model (2017) last year and it drove the same way. There is a lot of noise when driving on a rough surface. Mine car has a blue-wish purple color and the interior is dark gray. I bought an extended warranty on this car, so I have do a regular maintenance check and have not had no major maintenance done yet. I am hoping to maybe get a newer model, but I don't really like the newer ones. I also have heated seats and rear view dimmer which is so cool.

Overall good car

I haven't had issues with my car til this last year. So 5 years without a problem but now starting to have issues. 88,000 miles. Air conditioning, steering wheel electric problem, $1400.,transmission sensor under warranty,noise in the brakes. Honestly I would buy another one though. Great gas mileage, smooth ride. The car dealership has been awesome

Sonata Reveiw

Car has been dependable and provided good service. Excessive road noise has always been aggravating. Passenger front seat is like setting in a pit. Would not purchase this model again. Did not receive quality we paid for.

Love my Hyundai great car rides well handles great . Gas mileage great would recommend to friends would purchase again although the newer designs are not as appealing as mine. Lovely car well built not too much in repairs

Sonata is a great vehicle

Love my Sonata. It replaced the Elantra that I loved but which was totabled on a blackened New York State Expressway as I was driving home from work one night. I got no help from New York State, but Northtown Hyundai was very helpful in helping me overcome that situation.

Not a bad ride for the money

The too low passenger front seat makes it difficult to get out of the vehicle. It should also be a power seat. Also the front seat belt connections are very low making them difficult to connect. The car has plenty of power and is easy to drive.

Loving my 2013 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid

This is by far the best vehicle I have ever owned. I bought my Sonata Hybrid 5 years ago and have had only one minor problem (which was covered by warranty). There really is nothing else I need to say but this has to be 200 characters.

I love my vehicle because all the technology Especially my navigation system because I don’t always understand directions but the map gives you all different layouts I specially love bars calling now I’m not distracted trying to look up telephone number and I love that I can KEYN favorite I’m not all that Tech smart but it is user friendly. Most of all I get a lot other than technology for a reasonable price I do not have to struggle to meet my car payment

I love my Sonata. It has an aero-dynamic design. It rides very comfortably. All recalls were serviced promptly. and professtionally. My car is a 2013 that gives me the feeling of a 2018 vehicle when driving.

Love the car, but battery lIfe???

I love this car so much and only have two or three complaints. The advertised mileage seems great, but really it's not so good in town on short trips. It is very good on the highway and I have gotten 35-40 miles per gallon on every trip. I discontinued my BlueLink navigation and SOS service on two separate occasions (and it is currently off) because it was not user friendly and could not understand my voice, apparently. It is also expensive. I called the SOS several times in one day and no one ever answered. But this is not Hyundai's fault. My current irritation is that the dealership told me yesterday I need a new battery again. I bought the car in 2012, had to replace the battery in 2015, and now again in 2018, and for $124.00? No. I'm buying it somewhere else. I still LOVE the car though. It is dependable, durable, beautiful, and very comfortable inside. The heated seats are amazing and the whole look of the interior is very nice (tan and black). Exterior is Sparkling Ruby. Beautiful.

Too many recalls

My car has too many recalls im constantly having to put air in front tires and i stay regular with tune ups and oil changes but when im driving up a hill you smell oil but other than that im ok with the car

Sonato

I purchased my car brand new with intent of not having to deal with repairs and have it for 10+ years. Well I’ve had this car in more than any used car or new car I’ve ever owned. All covered but not the point I’ve been towed 3 times. I’ve had something wrong after 3 years to do with engine then alternator died then battery died then car seized this year thank god I wasn’t driving on freeway or moving when happened I would be dead happened at stop light. So new engine then my car had been making weird noise in front, axel problem and washer in steering area. I don’t feel safe in my car, oh and not to mention all the recalls!!!

2013 sonata 2.0T

The first thing i would try to do better is to improve the sound proofing in the car. the road noise is close to intolerable sometimes. the second thing i would do is improve the passenger seating area as it feels like (to my wife) you are sitting on the ground and she is short (5ft 1in) and she cannot reasonable see out of the car, which makes riding not as pleasurable as it could be for such a fine car. The ride is quite comfortable and smooth and the car handles well. Also the look of the car overall is great along with the performance.

Terrible

If you like recalls, constant problems and frequent trips the dealership this is the car is for you. You should see my maintenance folder with all my recalls, maintenance receipts. Always some sort of problem. If i did not buy the easy care warranty I wouldve had been close to spending just as much on maintenance as i did to buy the car

Love this car

The four cylinder engine has get up and go and gives me about 35 miles per gallon on the road. Very comfortable. Everything works as if the car was new. The radio system is great. This is a very smooth riding automobile.

Love this car

I have had my Sonata for 5 years, from 2000 miles to 90,000 miles. This is a great car, comfortable, decent gas mileage, reliable. I've had no issues with it. Great space in the interior - no need to squish the front passenger when people in the back. Plan to replace it with another Hyundai when the time comes.

Too many recalls

This car has had 4 recalls plus a steering issue (covered under warranty) in the almost six years we’ve owned it. While not all recalls were problematic for my particular car each recall requires an appointment and then the car being tied up
