2014 sonata

I spent alot of time looking at pre-owned midsized sedans. I wasn't locked into any make. I just wanted something comfortable, roomy for it's class,handles nice , dependable, and nice looking. I found all that in my 2014 sonata. I enjoy driving it. I have a 1 hour commute and its a joy to drive. Handles alot better than I expected, has some giddy up for passing and lane changing and it's quiet. My wife has a brand new Honda lease and perfers to take my car on road trips, and so do I.

Good Sonata Bad Sonata

The 2014 Sonata has been a nice car. The company I worked for when I bought this car required me to drive a lot for business so I put more miles on the car than the average driver. I've enjoyed driving it but it hasn't been without its problems. I have less than 100,000 miles on the car and even though the warranty and my extended warranty that I purchased from my dealer have covered almost everything. There have been a lot of issues and even recalls. In under 50,000 miles I had to replace the steering wheel and also replace the front axle boots 2 times before Hyundai issued a recall and then they replaced them with brand new parts for a third time. In under 100,000 miles I had to replace the entire engine as well as the pulleys and the tensioner and also the air compressor. Bottom line is. I love the style of the car, the ride, the gas mileage and the overall driving performance but the trips to the service dept have been somewhat of an annoyance. I would HIGHLY recommend that if your dealer offers an extended warranty to DEFINITLY purchase it! You'll need it if you plan to keep the car past 65,000 miles. In the 4 yrs I've owned the car the warranty and the 4 recalls from Hyundai have saved me a fortune. I would probably purchase another one but not without Buying an extended warranty. I may look for another model or even another brand with a similar warranty but with a better service track record.

Very nice car

I've only had this car for 3 weeks. It was a replacement for a 2007 Hyundai Sonata and this car has exceeded all of my expectations thus far. This is the 4th Hyundai purchased in my family and we have all found their cars to be of excellent quality and durability.

Quality

I bought my car over 4 years ago and is running exactly as when I purchased it. I love this car. Great value. I have a sunroof which I love and fog lights, which I rarely use, but it is a nice feature.

Still live my car!!

Fell in love with the look of the car as soon as I saw it on the road. 3 years later am still very happy with car. Hundai stands behind its product. If you are not completely satisfied they do what they can to make you happy..

2014 Hyundai Sonata

Love my Hyundai Sonata. It looks just like a high-priced vehicle. I get lots of compliments on the styling. Gets great gas mileage and is fun to drive. I only wished I had gotten a sun roof and leather seats. It's a little noisy but not too bad on long trips.Overall, I feel it's great value for the price!

Best car ever

I have the 2014 hyundai sonata SE 2.0 turbo, with heating seats,sunroof,lethear,blind spot detector,navigation system and camera.i love it , runs great, very good on gas, good power, huge trunk, different options all over from normal to sport. Will keep with hyundai for a long time.

VERY RELIABLE

Great warranty... will get you from point A to point B with no worries. Also pretty good on gas as long as you aren’t heavy on the pedal. No complaints so far. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a basic reliable car.

My daughter's 2015 Toyota Sienna with 30k miles battery died. My 2014 Hyundai Sonata with 42k miles still on original battery. I like my car a lot except for the front end being too low and drags on everything and is now all scarred up. I paid 26k drive out with platinum warranty, bumper to bumper. Well for now I have not needed the extended warranty. I will see if it really was worth the 2,600 I paid for it. I love the heated front seats it feels good on my back. Trunk sesor is too sensitive and often I find myself driving with the trunk open.

Raise it up a little so it won't drag front. Keep the price low. The value of the car drops very rapidly and that is disappointing. This thing will not submit unless I put at least 200 characters so I am just putting a lot of stuff here just to make that count and now I have.

My switch to Hyundai

I switched to Hyundai from Volkswagen with this vehicle. I find the car to be a great purchase! The pick up on it is amazing.. it has a lot of features that I’m finding out after-the-fact LOL the sunroof is a bonus. I love the style of the car. The interior is very nice when it is illuminated at night. I feel that a lot of time and consideration when into the styling of this vehicle. I would definitely recommend it to a friend or coworker.

My 2014 Sonata

I have been very please with my car. Purchased brand new and now four years old. Never have any mechanical problems and she still looks brand new. I have two other Hyundai's in my driveway. My daughter also drives a Sonata and my son purchased the Genesis 2.0T in a beautiful blue.

Love my car.

Love the gas mileage I get with my Sonata. First one i’ve Owned and will buy another. I want the SUV it’s very nice and roomy. I will be looking for a new One in the fucture. But, I may go wit a Kia SUV it has better warranty.

Great car!

I have had this car for 2 years. Bought it used with only 12k miles. I love driving it! I traded in a brand new Accent, for this used Sonata because it has the features I desired, plus more space. I appreciate the warranty Hyundai offers, and it’s a durable vehicle. Although my car is 4 years old, with only 36k miles, I think I’ll keep it awhile longer :-)

Dependable car

I bought this car brand new. It's been anawesome var. Comfortable and roomy. Handles well. I have over 100,000 miles on it. I have only had to put a new serpentine belt on it and just now changed the original brake pads and rotors. Great gas mileage. Usually 500 highway miles to a tank and 425 to 450 in stop and go traffic. Excellent car!

2014 - 2018 Sonata

Bought a 2014 Sonata in May of 2014, although there were a few recalls the car never gave me any troubles. I now have a 2018 Sonata that I'll have to get used to as there are a few different settings like the radio area. A couple things I will miss from the 2014 is the cubby holder with door under the radio and the 2 piece console. I wish Hyundai would make an electric passenger seat for all of their cars.... the passenger seats in all the cars sit way too low.

Great vehicle

This is the second Sonata we have owned, the first was a 2007 and now we have a 2014. Excellent MPG, low maintenance costs and great ride. Our daughter also has a 2011 Sonata and got it after driving ours.

Best vehicle

I have had two Sonatas & they are excellent to drive, very economical & very roomy. The warranty on Hyundai can't be beat. Lots of trunk space & so easy to park. Overall great quality & price is excellent.
