Great Value & Performance
This Sonata has met all my reliability & performance expectations. Reliability is the number one trait that I have always looked for in a car since I purchased my first vehicle in 1976, the bumper-to-bumper 100,000 mile warranty indicates the trust that Hyundai has that I will rarely have to need to worry about the car's reliability, & I will sacrifice pizzazz & good looks for a car that does not have to be in the shop frequently; yet I don't have had to do that with my Sonata. Its style is not overwhelmingly impressive but is quite satisfactory to me, plus it performs like a champ: great acceleration when needed to pass semis on two-lane highways; consistent strong braking; stable handling at high speeds & while cornering, quick maneuvering, & driving on icy roads; comfortable seating & climate control; great sound system; ample trunk space & surprisingly extensive amount of leg room in front & rear seats for this size vehicle. I imagine that I would be more impressed by a similarly-sized Lexus, Mercedes, or BMW, but I would have to be willing to pay 2-3 times the price for that privilege, & that's far too much of a premium to pay to be more impressed when my Sonata meets my standards & then some. This is my second Sonata, & my satisfaction of its predecessor plus my pre-purchase review of this 2015 model's expected reliability were the key reasons for my purchase. I have been quite satisfied with the value & performance that I have gotten from this car & would easily recommend it to another.
