Blind spot problem

The car is nice but the blind spot is very difficult to drive with. I’ve experienced my first car accident in a 30 yr driving history in this car due to no blind spot detection. It’s too wide! A whole truck I didn’t see going 70, I was only going 4 miles. Car was destroyed and I was at fault! I wish I would’ve purchased another suv like my Hyundai Santa Fe ?

Enjoyable drive with great looks

This car is a great value for the dollar and it's looks. It is responsive, handles admirably, and travels safely. Great features and seating. Quality sound. Spacious interior & trunk. Best warranty! Tall men, 6 foot 7 inch people, can ride and drive this car.

More than expected

Comfortable ride with great MPG. Nice body style with operator friendly interior. Could use a little more engine power. Plenty of truck space. Overall pleasantly surprised. Would recommend to family and friends.

2018 Sonata

To be honest, I was hesitant to buy a Hyndai. Didn’t think they would live up to my expectations - prior car was a BMW. I’m extremely happy with performance of the car, dealer’s manager accessibility and service department. Not to mention the dollars savings.

Continued excellence

The Sonata SEL with the Tech package is all I could want in a family sedan. I runs great, has excellent gas mileage, all gages and indicators easy to see while driving and computer easy to operate. This is my third Sonata.

I love my car. Smooth fast comfortable ride. Good on gas, great sound speakers, big trunk, interior inside is easy to clean. Love how when I back up or put signal on it beeps if something is in my way even when I cant see

sonata hybrid

I have owned a 2011 and a 2014 Sonata Hybrid. I now own a 2018 Sonata Hybrid. I use this car to go to and from work, which is about 80 miles round trip. The 40-42 miles per gallon I get makes it a great car for commuting to work. I love all the new features on the 2018. All 3 Hybrids handled really well. The ride is very smooth and comfortable. My husband says he likes driving it because he does not get tired after an hour or two of driving. My next car will be either a 2021 or 2022 Sonata Hybrid. I love my car.

2018 sonata

Compact, but not too small. Plenty of luggage space. Comfortable Great highway mileage. Nice paint, easy to keep clean. Hard to park as fenders cannot be seen from driver's seat. Lightweight, tends to float a little on the highway especially in the wind.

Wonderful Car! Great styling, fun to drive, and tons of amenities!

Appreciated the details that went into this car, including the quality of the interior and exterior. The seating is very comfortable and looks great. The exterior is stylish and sleek with the grill setting the tone. Overall handling is wonderful and the car is fun to drive with terrific acceleration, yet shifts smoothly.

Proud 2018 Sonata owners

Our previous vehicle was a 2008 Hyundai Sonata and we were absolutely satisfied with it. After 10 years of no major issues and complete satisfaction we decided to upgrade to a 2018 vehicle and our first choice was. Hyundai Sonata. We are now proud owners of a 2018 Sonata and couldn’t be happier. This vehicle not only offers comfort and luxury but it has proven to be reliable and dependable. When our oldest daughter was in the market for her first vehicle we recommended Hyundai. She is also now a proud owner of a Hyundai Elantra.

DO NOT BUY

Steering wheel and/or vehicle have been misaligned since purchase; 2 dealers completed "alignments" and nothing changed - then accused me of lying. Vehicle has 6,400 miles and I still need to hold (turn) the wheel to "3 o'clock" in order to drive straight. Suspension is garbage. Spend some extra money and buy Honda, Toyota etc.

Great handling, standard safety features

It's not easy for me to buy a new car, but after 15 years with a Honda Accord, it was time. I liked Hondas but wanted to keep an open mind, and compared several similar models, eventually narrowing down to two which I test drove and researched thoroughly: The Accord and the Sonata. The Sonata was high on safety, handling, and reliability which are important to me. The Accord had the Honda reputation, and I liked the styling a little better, but the Hyundai won the day and was several thousand dollars less expensive.

Great Purchase

This has been a great car. It is economical, comfortable, looks good and a great value. Purchased this vehicle from a local dealer, Northwood Hyundai, in Eureka, CA. I have purchased there before and have always been treated very well. If you go there, ask for Liz B. in sales. She's the best!

Nice Looking Sedan

Car is very nice,good looking ride,comfortable and stylish will on purchase Hyundai as I have had 3 and never any issues,dealership are very nice clean and always welcoming when you enter the front door. General Manager is also a great guy(Fairfield).
