Sonata

Very well done. Would buy another Sonsta if I was ready to buy a new car. Do not like the push button drive option on the new Sonata! Prefer gear shift stick drive! Everything else about the new Sonata is excellent!

Unhappy Customer

I was not notified there was a recall on the engine. While on a busy road the engine shut down, at night, where there are limited street lights, in a unsafe location to wait inside and outside of the car for 2 hours waiting on a truck driver. Now I'm in a downgrade rental car without any idea when my car will be fixed. I've already had to replace the battery on a 2018 car, airbags had a recall and my paint on the hood has bubbled/chipped.

Comfortable, smooth ride

My commute to work is much longer now and with children. I am beyond impressed with the comfortable, smooth ride. The safety features are impressive. Overall I really do Love my Hyundai Sonata Sport!!

Love my 2018 sonata my 5th Hyundai

Drives like a dream, peppy 4 cyl and I get 38mpg on the highway!! My 5th Hyundai and will get a 6th in a year or two. Only service I have had is routine maintenance. People in parking lot ask what kind of car it is and ask how I like it.

Hyundai Sonata

Overall very happy with the car. So much to learn about so many features, especially use of electronic/computer options. I get frustrated when a voice command does not work. I wish the car computer would work more like my iPhone (commands, voice recognition, etc.)

Reliable and Nice Looking

My primary use of the vehicle is as a company car. I drive the highways to neighboring states with at least one road trip a month. I also drive many city road trips into town (15-30 minutes each way) in a week. I also use the vehicle for eating out and finding new locations I’ve never visited before. I am handicapped with a muscular disease and would own one again. I can function normally with the car model.

2018 Hyundai Somata

I had a 2013 Sonata for 3 years, so when I decided to get another vehicle I wanted another Hyundai Sonata. I like the size of the car, very comfortable and rides very smoothly. I love the new features I have on the new car. Back up camera and the heated seats.

Hyundai Sonata 2018

I love my car. It is comfortable, beautiful to look at, rides wonderfully. The seats are very good on long rides, The trunk is full size and easy to pack and unpack. The air conditioning is very even and works well even in South Florida.

I think I got a Lemon

I bought my 2018 Hyundai Sonata new after reading all the positive reviews, seeing them in the showroom and rest driving one. Yes, it is beautiful both inside and out. I love the lines. Great comfort inside too. The BIG downside was complaining to the dealership for 2 years about the hesitation when accelerating and reading numerous similar reports on line. All said their dealers did not believe them. Finally after 2 years, Hyundai issued a recall for my vehicle on an engine part. It's about 90% better, but its not re-assuring when it hesitates on accelerating into traffic on the rare occasions. Too bad, I wish I owned the Hyundai everyone else is describing. It IS a beautiful car.

Beautiful and Classy but Lacking in Performance.

Love the way it looks. Beautiful, classy. Proud to be seen in it. But despite the engine part recall (FINALLY after 2 years of telling the dealership something was wrong) it still does not accelerate safely 100% of the time. Still has occasional hesitation. First time I made a mistake. Lesson: Never buy a car because it's beautiful.

Sonata review

All in all a good vehicle. Good gas mileage, reliable and sporty. I would consider another Hyundai but will not return to Liberty in North New Jersey. The sales person was fine when I leased the vehicle, however the dealership did not stand behind the deal I made since the salesman had left the company.

Overall I have been well satisfied with this vehicle. Having owned a Sonata previously I knew what to expect and I was not disappointed. Great fuel economy, very pleasant to drive, best warranty in the business. I would recommend to anyone.

Sonata

The sonata has been reliable and has provided good fuel economy. The engine runs rough and the exhaust is way too loud. Over all it is a good car for the price and it is extremely comfortable. The car feels solid and I feel safe when driving.

Love my Hyundai Sonata

This vehicle is just like owning a BMW but much more reasonable!!! This is my second Sonata and it probably will not be my last one. The interior design is absolutely amazing; the best feature. Great gas mileage, even around the city. Such a great vehicle for the price!!
