Doing the Basics Well

Before the 2019 Sonata I test drove new Accords, Camrys and Fusions. All are great vehicles. The Sonata's price and warranty set it apart and closed the sale. One year into ownership I appreciate more how well this car is designed and the attention to quality that went into it. Hyundai is no longer chasing Toyota and Honda but has caught up with them.

2nd Sonata in a row

This 2019, compared to my 2017 has lost some main features (sunroof, leather seats). Major concern is the fact that the engine is exactly the same (2.4 liter) but I noticed a considerable loss in gas mileage without gaining any performance.

Hyundai Sonata 2019

I bought this car new in 2018. The Hyundai Sonata 2019 was a good buy at the time. Now, two years later, my daytime running lights have gone out and the lights behind the media buttons have gone out as well. Besides these issues, the car functions and is ok.

2019 Sonata Limited

Great vehicle at a great price. Comprehensive safety features work great. Car looks good. Blue Link system is great for navigation and for locating POI’s. City MPG is less than advertised and brakes sometimes squeak in low speed driving. Great experience overall. Highly recommend.

Seating comfort

I love my Sonata it’s my second one, what needs to happen is the seating comfort needs to be addressed. The driving aspect is solid along with the feel and reliability of the make of the vehicle I find no issues other than the seating comfort. The Sonata is solid it’s just not the ride comfort car that you would make a 12-18 hr trip in.

Sport version

I’ll rate this as a 92/ 100 overall . It exceed expectations by me for what I had expected for the money spent. Mileage is fair and it’s handling is very good . Electronic / computer sensors are extensive and informative. Seats are comfortable and roomy. Outside design/ styling is above average and visibility is really good.

Driving excellence

The Sonata handls great,no swaying on the roadway,leaving interior nose at a minimum. I do recommend this vehicle to everyone, especially those who know their cars. Cars in the past that had include swaying on the roadways,interior noise,sensitivity in handling. This vehicle does not have any of those issues! A huge plus!

Great sedan!

Enjoy driving the vehicle in town and especially on trips where I get 35+ mpg!! The ride is enjoyable and my wife and I enjoy long drives. We enjoy the great gas mileage and I’m trying to get over 200 characters

2019 Sonata

This is the third Hyundai Sonata I have leased. They have all been very dependable, comfortable and economical. They have all been great road cars for long trips. They cruse nicely at 70+ even on up hill grades. Gas mileage around 35 mpg on open road at 70+. Great 4 cylinder standard engine. Nice standard features. I will consider a 2022 or 2023 when they are available.

Very spacious smooth drive ....... Great mileage it's a great car I don't really like my price I was told if I had returned and traded in my old car the payment was going to be lowered but that was not true finance was not helpful in this

Great reliable car

This car seams small on the exterior but it is very large inside. The amount of space compared to my 2017 is is huge. My only issue is the fuel feed seems delayed sometimes but can’t pin it down to anything specific. Goes great in the snow I love this car.

Love my sonata

The Hyundai Sonata is a very reliable and affordable vehicle. It is comfortable in both front and back seats. Plenty of leg room and the trunk is quite spacious. The gas mileage is also very good.
