Best Car Ever

This car is amazing! The inside is comfortable and spacious. The outside is dead sexy. The features are numerous and helpful. The price is affordable. It's really a great car for all! The whole thing has a lot of character and definitely gets some jealous stares.

2020 Hyundai Sonata Gls plus 1.6T

Too light. Small gas tank. Excessive wind noise and road noise. Sub par performance. When driving 15 mph and hitting gas hard car goes into neutral then engages the gear making a loud thump. Just a cheap car

2020 Hyundai Sonata Gls plus 1.6T

Very disappointed in this vehicle. To name just a few, excessive wind noise starting at 45 mph. Road noise is loud and annoying. Car feels cheap, rides like an Elantra. Gas tank to small. No performance. Had a 2013 which was the best, 2016 was a close second. This one they missed the mark by a wide margin. Regret getting it

its a vehicle

it gets you around in comfort. it has amazing lighting at night, the semi autonomous features are about the best at this price range, the speakers are good, the noise isolation is pretty good, a 6'4 person can sit in the back without hating life.

Exceeds my expectations

I considered a few other vehicles. After doing the research and comparing and test driving all of them I came back to the Hyundai every time! Particularly the Sonata. The all new redesign of the 2020 model far exceeded my expectations in not only appearance but safety technology and functionality as well. After having this vehicle for a year and putting over 17 K miles on it I still couldn’t be happier with my decision. Hands-down best car I’ve ever had and can’t wait to see what Hyundai does next!

Comfortable car and mileage up to 44 mph. Interior is sturdy and durable. Exterior design is similar to Mustang. 6 speed transmission is smooth and powerful. The interior is similar to a mid size car with unbelievable room in rear.

Almost perfect...

Super quiet engine & interior. Exceptionally stellar fuel efficiency. Smooth, quick base engine. Needs traditional shifter with manual mode again. Without an eco mode or manual shift, it's hard to drive the Sonata smoothly at low speeds. Once om the highway amd cruising speed, the Sonata really shines. The transmission can usually stay in 8th gear and provides quick downshifts when needed for passing or hills. Expect 50 miles ler gallon if you can keep it at 55 miles per hour, or about 37 at 85 miles per hour(!) Interior materials are very nice and everything from the doors closing, to the sound of the power locks engaging, exudes a solid feel. Standard LED head and tail lights are excellent. Great width and throw, pretty design. Hyundai/Kia have come a long way since the infamous and hated Excel? In my opinion, and I used to be a die hard Toyota/Lexus guy, Hyundai/Kia/Genesis build the best new cars in the world. For a second opinion, consult a mechanic ? They hate to see someone buy one...because nothing ever goes wrong with them. If it did, their warranty would put them out of business.

Love the way it handles and its extra features.

I have been really impressed with the way this car handles. I love the way the safety features work on this car. There is plenty of room and I do not feel cramped at all. It does have more power then what I thought. This car handles really well on curves and in heavy traffic. I am really enjoying this car.

Solid Value

Solid overall value for the price. I like the styling and the base trim level still offers decent media and safety features. Backseat has ample space for car seats and the trunk has great storage. I wish the base trim level had blind spot monitoring but otherwise a nice vehicle for the price

My experience with the Sonata.

I have owned a Sonata since 2009 and without a doubt they have consistently improved the quality and performance as well as the looks of this vehicle. I would recommend any of the Hyundai products to all my friends without concern. Their warranty is the best in the business.

I am in love with my car

I am in love with my car, The styling is so modern, so sleek. The grill and front lights are gorgeous. I have use the self back and forward parking several times for tight parking spaces. so convenient. The safety features when backing up are so helpful. It tells me if I have left anything in the back seat. While on a light, it tells me that the front car has already moved.

Amazing Vehicle for a great price

I cannot understate the amazingness this vehicle is. If you are looking for a low price but feature jam packed sedan with luxury styling look no further. You also cannot beat that Hyundai/Kia warranty. When initially seeing this vehicle I was put off as all I saw was a catfish look. After seeing it in person and especially at night I knew I was very wrong with my assessment. I have the SEL PLUS with panoramic sunroof and I love this car. If you are thinking of buying luxury but don't want the high bill look at this vehicle. The 12 Speaker sound system is amazing and I love the infotainment has a nature sounds feature for when I want a calming commute. The only thing I would say "negatively" is that the 1.6T is kinda of small for my tastes but it gets the job done. It is certainly peppy and fast enough for 90% of people out there. If you are looking for a burner get a Charger. But if you want top notch features and a luxury car for a bargain price this is your best bet. I do wish at the time I purchased they had the N Line as I would have paid more for that engine.

Incredible Car; Great Price!

My priority was MPG and my intention was to get a hybrid. The 2020 Sonata was the only vehicle that was really catching my eye when researching. I was not willing to wait for the hybrid, but with 28/38MPG I didn't feel bad going with the regular engine vehicle. This car has so many extras for such a reasonable price! Getting the upgraded Bose was my only "luxury" item that I wanted. I was able to get that and so much more for a great deal. After my first year of ownership, I fall in love with this car more and more every time I drive it. It is one of the smoothest driving and most comfortable cars I've driven, and that's after years of only driving rental cars of all makes/models. I can make a 10 hour drive and I don't find myself sore or excessively tired. I highly recommend the 2020 Sonata if you are looking for a solid performing car at a reasonable price. And with the 3 year Warranty and 3 free years of Blue Link...it's just icing on the cake!!
