Best value under 30k

This is my second veloster . The first one was non turbo . Great fuel mileage but no power . My turbo veloster gets great mileage and has plenty of power . Great around town and on the highway . I'm 6'3 and it has lots of leg room and is comfortable on a long trip ... it's actually more fun to drive and more comfortable than my Mercedes SL .

Awesome Hatchback!

I have driven many hot hatchbacks in my time, specifically GTI's. This car IS a hot hatchback, don't let the magazines fool you. Is it as fast as a GTI, no. But it is quick enough. I am still impressed that a 1.6L is pumping out 201HP! Interior never gets tiring and the exterior design is amazing, I love it and never get tired of looking at it. So based on all that it is a hot hatch to me. I commute in this car weekly, 90 miles round trip with an average 28mpg doing 75mph+. It is very comfortable on long rides and can be very fun in the twisties. The stock tires aren't the best, especially in the rain, but they get the job done for now. This car would definitely benefit from superior tires. Other than that, just a great looking car like nothing else on the road at an affordable price and great warranty. Well done Hyundai!

Love it!

This is the best car I've ever owned. Nimble handling with just enough power to make the drive exciting. The size of the car is deceiving as my family of 4 fits comfortably around town. Fuel economy was a definite hightlight coming from a v6. I get about 30mpg mixed driving with the turbo model.

Vicious Veloster

The car is quick, nimble, handles smoothly, and brakes great on the rare occasion that I need them. The styling is attractive, the features are many. The bigger driver's door allows me easy entry into a nicely designed drivers compartment. The controls are easy to reach and operate, the seat is very comfortable (and heated for those cold Wisconsin winters) and the large touch screen is outstanding. I loved my 2013 base model Vitamin C model so much that I never even looked at a different model when it was time to upgrade. I picked up the 2015 Turbo in Black and have really been pleased with the added performance. I do miss the eye catching metal flake orange though, hopefully they still have the Vitamin C and are building this outstanding car in 2018. Hey Hyundai, how about a Twin Turbo and all wheel drive version?

Great car

I have had my Veloster for over a year now and I love it more and more. Peppy, easy to drive, good value for the money, sporty looking so visually satisfying. (Such a nice car should have power seats, however; adjust to design flaw as sides are high and when you drive and turn, you cannot see the curbs---once you know about this, you can compensate).
