Worth the wait.

I am loving my Veloster. Great gas mileage, low maintenance and great warranty were an incentive but the driver friendly car is worth every penny. Excellent on curves and highway.

2016 Veloster R-spec

This car is Sporty; good-looking and FUN to drive. Great performance AND great MPG!! I traded a Honda after shopping both cars for a year, and for sheer 'bang for the buck'; you cannot go wrong with a Hyundai!...Many features standard on my car were only available as options on upper-level models of the Honda.. Even the Honda Sport Hatchback does not come with sunglass holders; heated mirrors; CD player; or even variable intermittent wipers. And the stereo in this is awesome! I'm gonna keep Sirius just because it sounds so good on this system compared to FM broadcasts or even the CD. The R-spec is a drivers' dream. The reduced weight; stiffer suspension; revised steering; and the B&M short-throw shifter make this a ride I can't wait to get back into each time I get out of it.

Veloster problem

The car is great but definitely needs something done about our 7 speed Dct it is very frustrating . I just had the TCM update and it a little . But I feel after 20,000 miles of no update it has caused premature damage on my clutches.

Enjoy driving

My velostar is fun to drive. At first I wasn't crazy about the 3 doors, but now it does come in handy with my grandchildren. I am not crazy about the color (black) but I am getting used to it. I will definitely buy another Hyundai when it's time.
