Denim Model is Amazing
This car is everything anyone could want if you want a fun car with good mileage and extras that would normally cost thousands more in other vehicles.
The bluelink feature is not talked about enough. I live in Michigan, and with our harsh winters heated seats and remote start was a must for me. I was looking at used cars, but top trims of those are 15k-20k even though they're 3-5 years old and maybe come with bluetooth and remote start. This car gives you the bluelink app for 3 years for free and the app is a huge pro. It also is very detailed, and with the remote start you can pick the temperature you want it at, so it can heat your car in the winter and cool it in the summer. I love this feature.
The safety features at this price point cannot be beat. It compares to the nissan kicks, but I liked the design of this car (denim version) much better. I really love the blind spot detection, it was a must, and it definitely makes my ride a lot safer.
The car design is NICE. I love the denim. I can actually find my car in a parking lot. This might not be the case for everyone, but I used to have the most basic car that exists and I could never find it, given everyone had the same one. This car gives you some individuality which I really enjoy.
Seats are comfy, driving is smooth, and the cars touch screen panel and bluetooth system work really well (includes android auto and apple car play which was also a must for me).
THE PRICE POINT. This was a huge deciding factor and one you cant ignore. This car isn't the end all be all, but at this price it might as well be. I highly doubt theres a better value for a brand new car than this one. I get compliments on my car all the time, more so than when I had a car almost double in price. Money doesn't always equal value, and you get a lot for it in this case.
The car is not large, so if you want a ton of space just buy something else. This car isn't about the space, but it definitely has enough for all your basic needs. There's more than enough room for the drivers and passengers seat. The back is smaller, but if you're like me, I can count on one hand how many times someone rode in the back seats of my car in the last 2 years, so I didn't really care about the size of that when deciding.
I cant think of anything I would need to buy on a weekly basis that wouldn't fit in the car. My boyfriend doesnt like the car because "what if you want to go on a road trip"? This car is PLENTY for 1 or 2 people for a road trip. Especially given the fantastic mileage (I get around 34 mpg with mostly city driving, but to be fair I dont accelerate too hard all the time the way others may drive). If you're worried about this car for road trip purposes, chances are someone else you're going with has a bigger car and you can just take theirs.
The car drives well and while it is peppy and responsive to acceleration and brakes, it's not the fastest car, nor will it be. If you're looking for speed, this isnt the car for you, but you can't have speed and good mileage (assuming it's not electric), so it depends on what you care more about. The engine is sufficient, and it does what I need it to do.
The car is a little on the noisy side when it comes to driving over 70mpg, but the sound system is great, so I turn up my music, and it hasn't been an issue.
Overall I'm super happy with my purchase. It's extremely practical while still being a fun car. I spend about 60 hours a month in my car doing almost all city driving and I wanted to love it, so that's why I chose the denim (for the nice interior) and for the safety features and mileage (and best warranty out there).
