Only one area that is not very convenient is that the outside temperature display is hard to view

Best Vehicle I've Owned

I bought my Vera Cruz because it was the most reasonably priced SUV of the few I looked at. I am so glad I chose the Vera Cruz. I have logged over 100K miles at this point and expect 100K more. My Vera Cruz runs like a top, it's comfortable, still looks new and a workhorse. My Vera Cruz is our "Lugger", she's moved trees, plants, plywood, lumber and was our packrat for our recent move. With the 2 sets of backseats up, I can drive the whole family anywhere we want to go. She's my favorite vehicle of all time.

Excellent vehicle

The only problems I experienced with this car were the inside door handles. Every year one inside door handle broke so I've had all four handles replaced now. Other than that I've only had the required maintenance performed and oil changes. It rides well and is comfortable. The extra seating way in the back is great when I am traveling with all my grandchildren.

My husband and I both would have replaced our vehicles with Veracruz' if they still made them. It is a great car, handles well in all kinds of weather, is roomy and very comfortable. The SantaFe does not have enough leg room for tall people like the Veracruz.. bring it back please!!!

Love It, Love It, Love It

Great ride, very roomy, stylish. People are always stop me and asking who makes this SUV? They cannot believe it’s a Hyundai. They want to know why Hyundai stop making the model and so do I. I am spoiled with this car. I love it! Love it! Love it! I would buy a later model if it was available. Very classy car!!!

love my veracruz!

I have a 2011 Hyundai Veracruz. I purchased the vehicle new, and usually, I trade in my vehicle every 3 years. My vehicle is exactly what I wanted from a vehicle. I leave the third row seats down, and my 100 pound dog has plenty of room back there and I still have the second row for passengers. I have the GLS with light tan cloth seat covers. I have carpooled teenagers and their paraphernalia to competitions and the upholstery still looks great.I just can't say enough about my vehicle.

Best vehicle I ever owned and still do. Excellent gas milage, quiet ride, plenty of storage and cargo space. Heated front seats come in handy during winter months.

It's an awesome vehicle there are few things that could make it better 1 make cargo space bigger or a bigger trunk, back up camera, Programable cd player so you don't have to all of them in the car,and have a least one DVD in the car the kids

Nice ride, great room

Veracruz ownership has been virtually trouble free. Purchased as a CPO vehicle, bought the platinum level wrap coverage, and have seldom been happier with a purchase.

My Hyundai Veracruz

I have had my car for 6 years (2011) and I love it. The ride is smooth the interior seats are comfortable and there is a lot of room in the back for folding tables, chairs and books that I normally haul around. I also feel safe because of the size of the car and the many airbags. My friend has the same model and has had hers much longer than I have had mine. Even though her car is considerably older it feels just the same as my much newer one. I feel it is a good investment and I am sorry they don't make them any more.

Hyundai Veracruz Is Not That Bad

Hyundai Veracruz is not that bad but Hyundai could have made this vehicle a bit bigger for more leg room and comfort. I just wish that this vehicle was not so picky when it comes to certain things (tires, other parts, etc). It is built well but could have been better with performance. It is fun to drive. The price could have been made cheaper or have a big size SUV be under $21,000. It would also be better if the rear seats (2nd & 3rd row), could be moveable like the front for leg room with different people's needs. When driving they could have also made the shocks a bit more softer, instead of it being so bouncy. Overall, it not a bad SUV. Its nice!!! Hyundai should not have stopped making these Veracruz's!!! They should redesign it and bring it back in market with lower pricing and more features with more space and leg room.

love my veracruz

My Veracruz is 5 years old and people still think it's a new vehicle. I love the extra cargo room behind the 2nd row. This is where the 3rd row is. I keep the 3rd row seats down and there is plenty of room for my big 100 pound dog back there. I like driving it and it seems to turn very sharp which is good for u-turns. It handles very well and the upholstery still looks great even though I transported teenagers in it for 4 years.
