Best Car Ever

I bought this car in 2010 when she was 2 years old. This has been without a doubt the most dependable car I’ve ever owned. Roomy, great luggage/trunk area, great space in the back seat. I’m now retired and can’t afford a newer car, so I’m thankful that she just keeps going.

The car is great to handle even after 12 years on the road

My vehicle has now been on the road giving me pleasure since 2008,the vehicle is incredible I have put so many miles on it and can not still believe the trips I take with it, and it never lets me down,i continue putting more miles on it and never afraid its going to leave stranded one day, that will never happen.......

Love

I love my ROGUE. it has been reliable and is easy to drive. great on gas and really comfortable to ride in. I simply love my car and would be willing to get a new one because i love it that much. I have gotten many compliments on my car thru the years and have told eveyone to at least check it out.

Not problem free but what car is

It’s a reliable car decent size and decent pick up... it will hold more than you expect as well as tow a bit if you need... the CVT is something you’ll likely NEED to get worked out immediately upon beginning ownership but overall it’s a good car. It has some issues but reach out to Tri Cities Nissan for authentic Nissan parts at a fair price!! If it’s a 2008 line mind you’ll need some things but once it’s fixed up it will serve your car needs well.

I love my Nissan Rogue

I've had this car since 2008 and it has been a great car, I love it! I use my car mostly to and from work, and do errands during the weekend. I have taken it for long trips several times and I can only say good things about it.

When Engineering Flaws Reveal Themselves

My 2008 Nissan Rogue is for the most part a decent car. It has a design defect that causes the front door handles to stop working when trying to open the front doors in the cold weather. It requires a trip to the dealer to get it fixed however after 4 such trips over the past 2 years the handles will still break and no longer open the doors. After searching online for weeks there is no cure for this problem yet the dealers are happy to charge you $295 per door to "fix" the problem only for it to happen with the next cold weather. Through much research and discussions with the dealers I have learned that it's just a design flaw and will keep happening. Nissan should provide a permanent fix to this problem at no expense to Nissan Rogue owners.

not perfect but what is...

It’s reliable once you fix the voluntary service campaigns and probably change your vapor selonoid canister... drives smoothly has decent pickup and can be yours if bought used like mine for a very fair price. I would say I can recommend it as a potential choice at this point.. definitely get the CVT fixed though... or ensure it has been fixed in the one you purchase!

Cvt issues but if that gets fixed great car

Cvt problems for sure but if the developer get fixed it’s a zippy comfortable SUV... the Nissan company was pleasant to deal with. I would recommend if you can deal with a car that’s not problem free however you know what the issue is so it’s easier to resolve.

My first Rogue

For it to be eight years old and my first 4 cylinder it performance surprised me. It's not to big or to small. Not to low or to high for getting in & out.

Nine years old and still a great vehicle

2008 Nissan Rogue SL AWD-- purchased with leather , sunroof, BOSE, etc. This vehicle has been great for us. It runs good, very comfortable and has been reliable.

Rogue - Best car I ever had.

I love my 2008 Rogue. As soon as I saw one, and that was the first year they came out, I fell in love across a crowded parking lot and knew I had to have one. I've had no trouble with it and just had tires replaced last week. There was nothing else needed. For a long time I changed cars every 3 years, but I have no desire to give up my Rogue. Easy and VERY comfortable to drive, or to ride in as passenger. Great vision all around. Lots of space. I can see us staying together for many years to come. It is interesting to note that all the other car companies have come out with their own version of the Rogue, but none are as good as the original.

2008 SL AWD Nissan Rogue
