I love my Forester!
I'm very glad I bought my Forester. It is one of my two favorite cars I've ever owned - and there have been many! While not "plushy", the Forester interior and seating is comfortable, and has remained looking new for over a year now. The adjustments available for the seats are great, and I love the heated seat option. Flattening the rear seats if easy and smooth. The rear cargo area has a surprising amount of room - more than other vehicles I've owned that appeared to be roomier. It's a solid, "strong-feeling" car that handles well on the road, and I've felt confident to take long trips on several occasions. I think it's beautiful and love the color (light green)! I do have issues with the electronics panel - sound and navigation combined - because to this day I still find it confusing and frustrating. I also don't like the preinstalled "choices" for the sound system, i.e., satellite radio, and several other commercial presets. I use my iPhone I-pod songs most and that "option" is only accessible by touching an "up-arrow" to reveal the I-pod option. I'd far rather be able to have that available without going through extra steps, and instead of the annoying choices I'll never use set "front and center"... The plug-ins for charger cords, etc., are pretty inconvenient - in the bottom of the front console - because it involves taking everything out to be able to reach them. If you don't want to change cords often, though, that's just a minor issue. With these specific exceptions (and the electronics panel stuff might vary with different models or have been "fixed" by now) I really do love this car, and probably would have bought this car even understanding these glitches beforehand.
