The Tacoma STILL reigns supreme
These trucks are awesome. The Tacoma strikes a perfect balance between practicality, sophistication and usability. It seems rugged enough for the outdoors man in men, yet sophisticated enough with it's internal and external refinements to take out on the town. I am impressed with the external body design and options available on multiple models, not just the limited. (i.e. sunroof, NAV, blinkers in mirrors, push start, keyless entry etc..) The internal changes and tweaks (which were long overdue) make the cabin inviting and user friendly. The dials are not over done and feel of the drive is great. The 4 door model is still a bit tight in the back. If you intend on having passengers back there the front passengers comfort will be compromised. Also getting a car seat back there makes things a bit tight. Another draw back I have experienced is the Entune system. Not very functional or reliable. The app is not the greatest and struggles to work w/the iphone. I know apple is exclusive and does not play well with others at times, yet the connectivity and functionality of syncing them has been challenging and frustrating. It definitely needs some overhaul. (Note to Toyota:Please leave that stuff to Google and Apple - and continue focusing on making superb automobiles)
Overall this truck looks great, drives smoothly and seems to have that Toyota staple of reliability, comfort at an affordable price. All the makings of keeper!!!
