These guys turned out to be crooks after all.
These guys turned out to be crooks after all. My Hyundai Elantra Touring needed service for an airbag light that would not go out. Last time this happened, they had to replaced the passenger seat because the airbag sensor was broken and is not (supposedly) replaceable without the whole seat. I went along with it and spent about $1200 for the repair.

The problem has resurfaced a couple years later, same seat. This time I was quoted $2300 for another seat! I took it to another (non-dealer) mechanic. They reinitialized the computer, reset the warning light, and I have had no problems. Furthermore, they informed be that it is not necessary to buy the whole seat, and that just the sensor alone can be replaced. They didn't even charge me. As for the car, the automatic transmission ate itself at 48k miles, the interior is fragile junk, and the steering feel is designed for an 80 lb person's delight.

I have a new mechanic now and will never buy another Hyundai or use Eckert Service. Did I mention these guys turned out to be crooks?

Issue was not addressed
I have been experiencing a 'known problem' for 2013 Elantras-- sputtering and stalling while idling. Restarting after a very short inactive period is also difficult. This issue has not been fixed.

I apoligize you have been experiencing a concern with you vehicle, i can assure you we dont want you to have any issues as well. 

If this has been an ongoing concern, if you would please call and lets schedule you an appointment, with a loaner car.

Unfortunately with your engine light not being on it is much harder to diagnosis the concern, so it will take at least a full day.

Multi-Point Inspections are not trustworthy
The multi-point inspection indicated my oil and coolant levels were good, however both were at extremely dangerous low levels to where I started overheating during my commute home.
