Bassel helped me with my inspection in July and recommended some fixes that my car desperately needed. I’m constantly skeptical that I’m being ripped off when I go to get my car fixed but every single thing they told me to do, I got a second and third opinion on and they both agreed and said that Abe’s quoted me a fair price!! Will be going back for all my car needs. They also are quite fast - they fixed my belt in under an hour.

Fast and thorough service
We have used Abe’s for many years and have always been satisfied. The prices are fair, they get it done quickly, and they are up front about what needs to get done and what can wait.

AVOID THIS REPAIR SHOP AT ALL COSTS!
Yes, they are AAA approved and that's what attracted me too, but I wish I had listened to my gut instinct and seek a different shop when I was told what needed to be done.
So after all of the work was completed and $3,200 down, I discovered that my steering wheel issue was still present where it starts to shake at 70mph--which was the initial complaint.
When I explained my situation to another mechanic at Abe's (for a second time), they found that the shaking was due to a bent rim.
I understand that all the other components they suggested on working on probably needed to be replaced soon, but $3,200 for an issue that only required the front left rim to be moved to the back is very frustrating.
Yes, the car is quieter and the ride is smoother, but if a customer only complains about a steering wheel vibration issue, and you ask them to spend a month's rent only for the customer to still feel that steering wheel vibration issue, is unacceptable.
To make matters worst, Naeem even asked me to take down the bad review for a used rim, just makes this business all the more umbrageous and disingenuous.

These gentlemen were awesome, efficient and very very personable. You can actually tell they truly care about their work and you! They do what needs to be done not what has to be done! I recommend them to anyone! I just found myself a real reliable humble mechanic!
I picked Abe’s because it was AAA recommended and I was using a AAA tow and it was the closest.
I think the actual work they did was good and they got it done in one day. My car had overheated and I also needed a new battery.
But while I was there I saw them upselling everyone and when it came time to tell me what they had done to my car they tried to sell me additional work that would have doubled the cost. I turned it down but it took some firmness.
The waiting area was horrible— open door to the work area and horrible fumes. I’m glad it was relatively warm out so I could wait outside. No tables or surfaces to work while I waited. The price seemed high but I had no way to judge.
The staff seemed friendly and they knew what they were doing but the upselling was egregious.
I wouldn’t go back unless I really had to.
Naeem’s diligence and quality work saved our Christmas and New Years celebrations! We were out of luck when one of the radiator hoses, the exhaust flex pipe, and the engine thermostat all gave out. Naeem diagnosed the car within 20 minutes of arriving to the facilities at around 7pm and had the car ready to go by 3pm the following day. I could not recommend more highly. 10/10 work, making this my primary shop from now on.

Pretended they did an alignment.
We brought our Volvo in to get our new tires mounted and the alignment done because the old tires were worn on the inside. A few hours later they told us we was all set and confirmed they adjusted the alignment. It turns out the car was still tracking badly and the new tires were starting to wear on the inside again, so we brought it back. The owner, Eli, and his main man, both accused us of lying, but we could prove that they never touched the alignment. They never even put the car in the stall with the alignment machine. We didn't let them push us over and they eventually became more helpful and looked at the alignment. They noticed the ball joints were worn and we agreed to replace them before actually adjusting the alignment for real this time. The technician who did the work told us that it was severely tow-in, and that the tie rod ends had definitely not been touched previously. We have lost our trust in these guys unfortunately. If they had done the alignment the first time, they'd have caught the worn ball joints and we'd have replaced them and we'd have left happy customers. But instead they tried to fraud us.
I have used Abes Complete Auto Repair for years now and the servi e is always excellent and professional. They know cars that's for sure. I trust them with our vehicles.
