Lack of integrity and customer care
As a small business owner, I rely on professionalism and clear communication from the companies I work with, but my experience with Adkins Auto was deeply frustrating and disappointing. From the start, their communication was poor, ignoring multiple attempts to get updates on the parts I ordered. Despite my patience, they couldn’t provide clear answers on when the parts would arrive. When I finally expressed my frustration over the delays, they stopped responding altogether.

To make matters worse, they misrepresented the condition of my generator—claiming it had been assembled when critical parts were missing. As a small business, this kind of dishonesty and delay has a significant impact on my ability to operate effectively. I emailed them outlining my disappointment and decision to move forward with another shop, but they didn’t even acknowledge my concerns.

This lack of professionalism, dishonesty, and disregard for their customers’ time and trust has made it clear I cannot recommend Adkins Auto. If you’re looking for a shop that values your business, I strongly suggest looking elsewhere.

We never assured you that the generator was put together as the technician showed you the broken rocker arms and threw them in the trash in front of you. He told you what was needed when you picked your trailer up. There is no reason to put everything back together to charge you to remove everything again. Same with the spark plug. That doesn't make any sense and we're not going to charge you something twice for something that was unusable. No dishonesty was given. As a small business owner, we know every bit helps in savings. 


To your comment about the lack of communication, asking for updates to shipping 5+ times a day after being told multiple times that your parts were being shipped on the 17th wasn't going to change anything. Your lack of understanding how our business works and operates after being advised by our staff is unprofessional. 


We take pride in our work and our service. When you scheduled your appointment, you called multiple times to confirm your appointment and try to get in sooner. I advised you of our schedule and you were very inconsiderate and disrespectful. I should have cut ties with you then, but everyone has a job, right?! You were dismissive from the start and your behavior was unprofessional.
