Honest, Professional Auto Maintenabnce
You won't find a more honest, reliable and caring Shop than "Big John's. His promptness , caring and professional approach to your auto needs is a "breath of Fresh Air" in this "dog eat dog " world.
All my vehicles will never have another shop touch them, as I have found a true repair home for them.

Customer comes first Attitude ??
I greatly appreciate Johns attitude towards his clients; if John’s clients are successful then the by product is his own success. In the Auto Repair industry, which is similar to the medical industry, it is mostly diagnostic and then trial an error to resolve issues and problems and it is not a perfect science. I had a power steering issue with my car, John did an inspection and provided me with recommended solutions and then help resolve the issue, which had a better outcome then I was expecting. This was my experience with Big John’s Oil & Lube and if your looking for customer focused help, I recommend at least having a conversation with John.

Transmission Remove and Replace
Purchased transmission through Best Buy and sent to them . I was quoted a price before hand for the completed job and it ended up costing an additional 1500.00. After they installed they phoned me to let me know the trany would not shift into park. Went to shop he had pan pulled off. I called best buy to see about getting another transmission, no problem. They then removed first replacement. The second one is in, installed second one and completed three weeks later. I examined and found that my skid plate was not installed. Returned to pick up skid plate and bolts, he gave me the incorrect bolt, I purchased the correct bolts at hardware store. I had rat feces on floor boards. A week later truck is surging at 50 mi speed. Pan gasket leaking. The tech Brice was very unfriendly

Everything is AMAZING
I have been going to Big John's now for 2years. You guys are the "VERY BEST" in the industry. I have taken 3 different vehicles to you for repairs, and each time has been nothing but quality, HONEST, and more than fair prices. I had to make a choice back in November to have my 2006 Buick Lucerne CXS repaired by another shop (it had broke down on railroad tracks) due to time constraints and need for my vehicle. That shop charged $3,400 for repairs that were "causing the problem". During their sloppy service they managed to "forget" to put my wiring harness back properly which left it to burn/melt to my manifold and nearly catch my car on fire! Thanks Cooper's! Needless to say it stopped running again. Had it towed to Buick of Puyallup and they claimed it was my battery $450. Again, car stopped running and finally I was able to get the car into Big John's. After looking at it, taking it for a drive, Big Johns service determined what the issues were. You guys are amazing!! And even saying that just does not feel like that's a strong enough description to describe the honest service, friendly staff, more than reasonably prices. Overall, BEST SHOP by far in all of Pierce County but my gut tells me best shop in Washington state. Thank you so much for helping me when I felt so hopeless about my car. I will NEVER, ever go anywhere else!
