This BMW dealership is a gem! Wonderful and knowledgable staff. Lance, John, and Rod were so extremely helpful, patient, and knowledgable. Their new inventory is swoon-worthy and their used selection is top of the line.
You can never go wrong with anything BMW -great cars and high quality service!

Rude, Arrogant, Incompetent Sales People at BMW San Francisco
I would discourage doing business with BMW San Francisco. I never experienced a more disrespectful and arrogant dealership, This dealer is NOT customer centric by any stretch of the imagination. The attitude of most employees is to do as little as possible. They clearly care about ONLY the sale and not after. I placed 3 calls in total. 2 were so horrible I question how these men have jobs. They completely lack the temperament and skill set.
On call 2 When I asked why the inspection report neglected to state whether leaks were checked, Larry became irate and placed me on hold and then hung on me. I had to call him back and the conversation deteriorated further. I had to repeat my concerns several times. One would think he'd have the common sense to write them down.
Carl who I spoke with (4th call) was polite and did not cut me off like the others but clearly had no intention of going the extra mile.
When I did not move forward, enter Rod Helaire. His text message:
"Hello Nicholas, this is Rod Helaire, the sales manager for BMW of San Francisco. I wanted to be certain that you had an exceptional sales experience and that all of your questions or concerns were addressed by Carl. Please advise if there is anything I can do to assist in acquiring your next vehicle. I know you have choices, and I thank you for the opportunity to serve you. A courtesy text back would be greatly appreciated."
Rod Helaire, abruptly cut off communication when I asked for a photo of roof panel and that sunroof functioned (common failure).
So clearly empty rhetoric is the playbook here. If you're counting on integrity—Think again! Disgraceful.

This is the worst BMW ever!
This is the worst BMW ever! I’m very frustrated about BMW SF location. I bought additional warranty when I bought my car. However my documents hasn't provided to Lithia. I called to Lithia when my car was broken, I was told I am not under their system because my documents haven't sent by BMW. I needed to pay even I have warranty! I had so many phone call with BMW SF John Myer (Finance Manager), Jessica Cortesvera (Finance Manager), Eugene Villena (Sales Manager). They do not their job, very unprofessional. They do not care customer needs. It has been three weeks and my documents hasn't provided yet. I cant file a claim. My documents should have been sent two months ago when I bought my car. I do not recommended BMW SF!

Don’t buy from this dealership!
Don’t buy from this dealership. Bought a fully loaded $50k 2019 BMW 330i. The sales person, Mico Silver indicated the vehicle had wireless phone charging installed. After I purchased the vehicle, the vehicle did not have wireless charging installed as an option. After I contacted the general manager, Stefan Aubertin they were unwilling to provide a BMW wireless charging accessory ($195) to make me whole. If they can’t stand behind their sales process, don’t trust them with servicing your car or dealing with issues after the sale

Poor warranty support
The very young service adviser quickly blamed my cars breakdown on it being "modified". The car came from the largest BMW dealership in the USA with a warrantied Dinan upgrade and nothing else. They refused to support the broken half shaft and ultimately Dinan picked up the tab, even though the car was still under warranty from BMW.
I wouldn't recommend this location to anyone. Their service department has some incredibly rude staff that make wild accusations. Peter Pan down the penninsula treated me professionally and with respect.

Does not follow through
Purchased a BMW from them 02/07/2018.
Also traded in a vehicle. Now on 10/04/19 I was notified by my bank that a levy fee of $296 + $150 bank fee was taken by DMV’s registration collections. I looked up my records for the trade in, confirmed my Registration was paid and current at the time of sale, next registration was not due until 07/24/18. As my other purchases from dealerships, I was assured they would take care of all paperwork. Obviously they did not and the transfer/release of liability form was not submitted. While this screw up/ amount of money will not cause me any harm, I contacted them to give them the opportunity to do the right thing and was ignored.
I drive 175 miles to get all my work done at sf Bmw because i know my car will get the attention that it needs. Chris Kuehn my service advisor is always upfont and honest with me and tells me what to expect in the future. He is truly knowledge about all bmws. If you love your car take it where they care. I highly recommend this dealership.
We had an awesome experience thanks to our Client Advisor, Dinu Cotoros.
He was very patient, gave us the car keys and let us explore it on our own without putting any pressure on us. Then he told us everything about the car history and made sure we're getting a fair price for it. Finally, after we purchased it, the car was professionally detailed.
I came in and asked to take care of
wheel polish
service light
quotes for some parts
car wash
making the first visit i was excited to build a relationship. But overall, it is pretty clear that wasnt the case from sf bmw service. There were no follow up emails, quotes were delayed, service check is still on, mt black car was washed dirty. best part of the whole experience was that there wasnt much waits and drop off service was great. I do still want to work with better guy and start building relationship. amongst stevenscreek peterpan and sf, this was by far the most disappointing customer care. sf bmw service needs to train their people better
The last two appointments included a problem with squeaking brakes. The first time the mechanic could not duplicate the squeak, which is very frequent. That problem repeated the same way right after the service. The problem got worse over the next two month so I took the car back for service and again was told the problem could not be duplicated. The brake squeak happened again as I was leaving the dealership. I don't think the mechanic put any time and effort into driving the car to hear the squeak - it happens very, very frequently.
I was also told that a brake squeak is common which is remarkably disappointing to hear that BMW would condone poor quality like this. My lease is coming up in a few months and I planned to lease a new BMW but am now considering buying another make of car.
In spite of this problem the service agent was very helpful.
BMW SF has some of the best service advisors and fastest service I have experienced in SF. This is my preferred place to get my BMW serviced quickly and correctly. Highly recommended.
Chris Kuhn has been my service advisor since I first started coming to BMW SF back in 2014. He is consistently personable, unpretentious and always has a pleasant demeanor. He understands and has built strong customer relationships and has built trust with his clients. He was gone to Mini for a little while, but he's back at BMW and I'm so glad he has returned!
