Crooks! Beware!
Had our tow behind vehicle towed into their shop in late March 2024. They never told us the diagnosis. We waited 10 days and finally said we had to take the car back as is. They said they had rebuilt our transmission. We never approved that. When we went to pick it up it was still not drivable. He told us to take it to our dealership to get a transmission module in Georgia. We took it to our Chevy dealership and found out our transmission was still under warranty. But not anymore because the crooks took ours out and put in a junkyard transmission with metal shavings still in it! They knew our car was under warranty just by typing in the VIN. CROOKS! Someday they will meet their maker. Won’t be a pretty sight.

Doug the owner is a crook !!
First and foremost , I did not give this man permission to touch my transmission!! He initially told me your car is too new for transmission problems, I think it’s electrical. 5 days later I show up to pick it up, he claimed he overhauled my transmission. Only to find out a week later he took my transmission out that was still under GM factory warranty and stuck a junkyard transmission in it that had metal shavings in it. The serial numbers had been scratched out, someone took a tool and carved their initials in the casing and sprayed yellow paint on it ! That’s what they do at junkyards!!! So not only did he void my warranty he charged me $4,500 for a junkyard transmission ?. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS SHOP !!!!

DISHONEST RIP OFFS!
I went to Central Automotive because my truck's gear was stuck and not shifting. Central Automotive indicated that it needed the Transmission to be Rebuilt. We agreed at a price that comes with a Warranty.

I got back my truck , but after a few mile drive got the same problem of the gear not shifting, I returned the truck back to Central Automotive and they indicated that they would look at it and fix it, but after months didn't fix it, so I had to move it to another Auto Shop. The other Auto Shop was able to fix in 9 days only and at a lower price for a new Transmission.

Transfer case rebuild.
Doug and his technicians at central trans. did a one day turnover repair on the transfer case on my 99 suburban. It had a bad leak. They diagnosed it , it had a hole in the case, repaired it with a used part and resealed the entire unit. Doug saved me money and did a great job in a very short time.
