Unfair Treatment & Price Gouging
I tried these guys for first time and it went poorly. While the staff is friendly, courteous, and offer baked cookies, it all ends there. Their pricing is beyond unreasonable and I question the motives when doing inspections as I experienced a few weeks ago. Based on my experience, they will talk you into services and parts you may not need to pass inspection. For instance, they said I needed to replace brake pads and I went ahead with it. The price was just shy of $1K. Ok, fine. Unfortunate, but it happens sometimes. However, when I showed old brake pads to Munro down the street they said they would have passed and likely have another year left. I felt I was taken on that one!
It did not end there. My battery died today and my car was in just 10 days ago for the inspection so I figured they would at least help me out this time around. While I expected to pay for a new one and some labor, they threw me the "rack rates" like I was nobody. I asked for a courtesy discount since I was there 10 days ago and they balked and were snippy over the phone (a call that I recorded). They claimed they checked the battery during inspection. Maybe they did or did not. Either way, I was back, it was a huge burden, and the costs were astronomical.
Good news is Munro is 500 feet down the road. I decided to take the car to them and they were half the price (seriously!). Expensive lesson to learn, but that was my last time at Davicos. My two cents - do not let the baked cookies and text reminders fool you. It is their way of rationalizing their high rates.

Answered an Ad on line not only did they never answer but asked me me to let them know when would be a good time to talk.....Not honorable people/buiness do not be fooled
This place has excellent service! I went in during my lunch break at work, and they said it would take longer than an hour to have what I needed done. They allowed me to drive back to work, have someone drive my car back to the garage, and even dropped it off back to me when it was all finished. The entire staff was friendly and approachable and I would easily recommend it to anyone.
D'Avico's has always been accommodating and professional when it comes to dealing with their customers. Couldn't tell you how many times I've called last minute to schedule or with emergencies (check engine light) and they never blinked an eye to help! That goes for not only the front office staff but the mechanics as well. I know my car is in good hands and I know the problem will be fixed. Would highly recommend- my parents have been convinced and are willing to drive from West Chester to use D'Avico's.
Well done, on time, and reasonable. Checked the entire car for safety.

i had previously always taken my car to a shop that closed recently so I needed to find a new one. Ashley was very helpful and accommodating when I spoke with her on the phone and John was great at explains the services required. He also continued to keep me up to date regarding the status of the repairs, which was great.
My tire was not able to be fixed as I had hoped. John and his crew ordered and installed a new tire instead . My car was up ,out and running in less than a day.
I was fit in after putting off my oil change a little too long. Well actually a lot too long. John and his team found some other items that needed addressing and were able to accommodate the same day so I did not have to come back. Ashley gave me a ride to and from my office to make it painless. All in all just a great experience. Thanks!
