DCH Paramus Honda Unscrupulous Rip Off Artist AVOID AT ALL COST
DCH Paramus Honda Unscrupulous Rip Off Artist AVOID AT ALL COST
After a lengthy test drive and expressing readiness to purchase an SUV, we encountered several issues with the dealership:
Pricing Discrepancy: The initial price quoted was $2,500 above the sticker price. When we pointed this out, they claimed it was a mistake.
Negotiation Attempts:
We asked for a price reduction and additional incentives. Their offer was limited to two oil changes, which we found inadequate.
Trade-In Valuation:
The dealership's initial offer was only 20% of our car's actual worth.
We presented a higher purchase offer from CarMax for comparison.
The dealership slightly increased their offer but remained significantly below CarMax's valuation.
Manager Intervention:
A Unscrupulous Rip Off Artist Manager joined the negotiation, presenting an even lower trade-in offer that was already offered.
He incorrectly stated they had met all our requests. When we disagreed, he imposed a 24-hour limit on the trade-in offer.
Documentation Refusal:
The manager withheld the paperwork containing our offer details. He refused to let us keep the information despite the potential $50,000 purchase.
Unprofessional Conduct:
The ignorant full of himself manager stated they didn't need our business. In response to this behavior, we decided not to proceed with the purchase.
This experience highlights questionable sales tactics, poor customer service, and a lack of transparency in the dealership's practices. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH DCH Paramus Honda

They are quick to take your money but slow to do their jobs
This is not dealership you want to have any kind of business with. My sales rep expressed multiple times he did not care about his job and that his coworkers lied constantly just to close deals. When it came to the paper work he made multiple mistakes and made misleading statements.
I struggled for days to get guidance on my lien release letter, leaving countless messages. It got to the point where my registration was about to expire, I had to drive an hour and a half to speak to someone that was willing to help. Only to find out my sales rep was gone and the finance manager was on vacation—information that the receptionist failed to mention.
My registration issue was never resolved because they didn’t inform me they needed my lien release letter. They issued a temporary registration, and now my registration is expiring again. I faced the same runaround from reception, and when I finally contacted the VP of finance, I got a vague promise of another temporary registration with no explanation.
Overall, this dealership is untrustworthy and deceitful. I encountered apathy, rudeness, and a complete lack of professionalism and accountability from all but one employee.

I finally got my car back after months . dealing with bad business and bad people I gave my car to an auto body shop in Totowa Tony’s auto body and they did a horrible job they put parts that’s already damaged . The parts are supposed to be life time warranty
I guess Tony didn’t know that I had a certified mechanic by my side and if it wasn’t for this guy I wouldn’t of found what they did wrong. near to say me and Tony and his shop got into it I blew his ass right out the water I called the insurance company and ask them about the situation they told me to take it to the dealer after I told him that Tony has probably been doing this to you for a long time this is why you need to go out and check your vehicles before giving them back to the customer……. now I take the car at the sitting three weeks to a month I take it to DCH Honda dealer in Paramus New Jersey and O shit ….. and here we go again they trying to do the same goddamn thing Tony autobody in Totowa did they saying it was one thing but it turned out to be three other different things the head percent of the Honda dealer would not talk to me he left it for his service managers which were unprofessional… they said I needed a new compressor they put the $2500 compressor in and I pay $500 for a rental car turn around wheat weeks later if not the compressor I have other leaks so that tells me that they misdiagnosed my vehicle but they try to hold me responsible for it… but oh shit they did not know I had a good mechanic by my son who used to work for them that automatically knew what they were doing they go to tell me that their tech is like my friend which everybody knows each other but they turn around and Sent there tech back to school.. The crazy thing is when I approach one of their service management and told him I think that you guys trying to rob me or the insurance company … it gets very bad when you call people out and they know that they are busted…. there’s a lot of this shit going on if you guys have work done to your vehicle and you’re not sure of your mechanic bring it to a mechanic I know he’ll tell you if that mechanic did a good job a lot of his mechanic and he steals it I’m just taking your money because I know you’ll come back or you don’t have the resources to get certain things done …. Please open your eyes go up under your hood and check things out you’ll be funny how you find certain things that you’re not looking for sometime we can be too late…. Dealership is unprofessional

Best experience ever!!!
I just want to say DCH Paramus Honda, is the best dealership I’ve ever been too. The help you receive from their staff is out of this world.
But, my favorite experience had to be my salesman, Gustavo Portillo. Oh man, when I say he made my sales experience smooth, easy, and very detailed, made me never want to go to no other dealership. I got a Honda HRV 2021, lease and I honestly cannot wait until my lease is up to get another car from him.
If you’re not attending DCH Paramus Honda, or asking for Gustavo Portillo, we’ll this is your sign to do so.

Excellent Customer Service - FULLY RECOMMEND DCH
I submitted two reviews of DCH Paramus below. In both of my reviews, I was upset that a used car that I purchased experienced issues after purchase. I must say that I am very happy with DCH’s timely response. Wael @ DCH heard me out on several occasions and addressed my concerns in a fair manner. Bottom line is that buying a car can be stressful. But knowing that DCH will work with you when issues arise is the best possible scenario when it comes to buying a car. I FULLY RECOMMEND DCH!

Grateful for the DCH Paramus Honda Family!
DCH Paramus Honda helped me feel like at home and as a parent, very confident in my daughters purchase. Thank you for the great hospitality, customer service, and for explaining to my daughter her options. Ryan Espertin did a great job as our client advisor to help not only meet my daughters needs but also listened and catered to my daughters wants.
I am forever grateful for the DCH Paramus Honda family! I highly recommend DCH as your dealership of choice for your new or used car purchase and Ryan Espertin as your Client Advisor.

almost 3 months, no plates or registration!
Purchased a new 2020 CRV on 8/18/20. NY resident, and as of today 11/6/20 still haven't received our plates and registration. Totally unacceptable. First they blamed NY DMV (I’ve been able to walk into DMV myself since early October if I had the paperwork), then said the company they use to obtain the plates had a death in the family (they never disclosed a 3rd party would be handling this and at what cost). Then they said that company makes the plates and tells DMV what the number is (total B.S.) then recently they said the paperwork was submitted the 9th of last month. Wait, what? That's 10/9/20! Why did they wait 7 weeks? We've now made 2 car payments on a car we can't legally drive. They said if we get a ticket for driving without plates and registration they'd pay it. We what about our insurance going up and points against our license? Again, total B.S. I've asked numerous times for the company's name, what the tracking number is and DCH will not provide. We want our plates. At this point they should immediately overnight our plates and registration and pay us back for a monthly payment on a car we can't drive. By the way, they can't blame COVID as this seems to be a recurring problem with this dealership based on the other BBB complaints. I've called them over 20 times!
