Big Ripoff
Went to dealership with a trade in quote from there website of 13680 when the salesmen looked at my 2015 Genisis the guy Vinnie said it was the cleanest trade in he ever saw then I was told they can only give me 9K and plus they are going to add 5K to 7K on top of the sticker price that would be an extra 10K to 12K extra they were trying to get me to pay don't trust them run for the door or better yet don't even go in the door to begin with a BIG RIPOFF

Horrible customer service
I had my car towed in and had to have a complete engine repair. I was told they couldn't give me a loaner or rental right away but I could get a rental car on my own and once they diagnosed my car and verified it was under warranty they'd take over the payment on the rental and also, I could submit what I paid to Hyaundi corporate and I'd be reimbursed once everything was complete. So after a month, they got my car in the shop and diagnosed it, it was covered under warranty. A month after that they were done. My car was there two months. So I go to submit for my reimbursement to Hyaundi corporate and they told me I would not get the full amount I paid back( only less than 50 %) and basically the dealership lied to me. I called the dealership and they acted as if this is news to them that Hyaundi only covers a small portion. The service manager basically was no help when I called and said there's nothing they can do.

Stressful Experience
My husband and I went in with our adult daughter on 5/22/21 to help her purchase her first brand new car on a lease. The whole event took hours, was high pressured and chaotic! We told our salesman what we were looking for and what our price point was. We were also transferring our 2009 Eddie Bauer Ford Explorer to her to use as a down payment. Actually went in because of the deals they kept advertising on the radio and newspaper. Those disappeared when we mentioned them. Hmmm.....
Found what we wanted and started the back and forth nonsense amongst our salesman and 2 other managers. The salesman would give us figures, we’d say no, he’d run to some office, come back and give us another story, we’d say no, he’d run back to the office.....this went on for over an hour. Finally, the guy in the office came out and he started haggling with us. We told him what car we wanted, what we wanted for the trade and what monthly payment was acceptable. He said it could never happen. We said “Then we’ll be leaving. Thanks for your help”. The three of us got up, got into our SUV and drove out of the lot. Ten minutes later my daughter got a call from another manager who said they would meet our demands and give us an extra $1,000 for our trade. We said we needed to think about it. Manager said “ok”. In the meantime, we went to 2 other dealerships to look at SUV’s. Called Hyundai back an hour and a half later and told them to get the vehicle and papers ready. We returned and then started another 2 hours of unbelievable paper work! We have purchased many, many brand new cars from all different types of dealerships over the years both lease and buy and we never experienced this much paperwork and processing. In the end, we left with the SUV our daughter wanted and terms we insisted upon were met. However, be aware that they do not carefully handle the insurance and registration paperwork (we had to straighten that out on our own a few days later) and they use all of the old sales techniques (“I’ve got 3 other people looking at this car and one of them said they’d be in later this afternoon to pay for it in cash.....you better act fast”). Haven’t been in for service yet so can’t make comments about that. Would we return? Probably only to drop off the vehicle we have at the end of the lease. The whole experience left a negative mark. The only reason we went back was because our daughter really wanted the Palisade and they finally agreed to our terms. Other Hyundai dealers didn’t have any Palisades available.

waited 31 days
On July 4 ,2021 my car started making a crushing sound in the motor and then stalled and lost all control. Had it towed to Dickson City Hyundai on July 5,2021 and was told it may take 2 weeks before my car is looked at due to cars ahead of me. Was told no loaner car and I can rent a car but depending on the problem you may get your money back and I say may. Well I call in 2 weeks and still didn't look at it was told I was 16 on list. Again no loaner car and I can rent one and may get money back. Well it took 31 days for them to look at it to tell me it was a blown engine and they had one there and my car would be back in a day...I do have the warranty but I half to bring it to the dealer ship or they will not pay for. any work done to it. They could of just diagnosis the problem and then let me get a rental but no just had me waiting...not happy at all

GO SOME PLACE ELSE
This place does not deserve even one star because of their poor and dishonest service.We purchased a new car and discovered after 6 days the air condition wasn't working. My wife took the car back to see what was wrong. They charged for the appointment, withheld her keys until payment was made for the diagnosis ,$112.00. They then went on to explain there was rodent damage to the wires. The car sat over 5 months and was amid very high grass and weeds in the lot across route 6. but they claimed it happened after 6 days in our driveway. Then they claimed it would cost $2100.00 for the repair of the wire harness. The entire cost would have to be paid by us or our insurance company. After many attempts to call managers , several weeks passed with no response from local or regional managers so we took the car to another dealership. They gave us a loaner car and did the repair for $227.00. Quite an "in your face" difference in price and service between the two. Dickson City Hyundai lost our respect, lost us as customers and made it very clear we were just a number to them. The public needs to be aware of the lies and the deceptive practices of this dealership! our hope is you go to the other nearby Hyundai dealership.
