Poor Sale
Dear Mr. Rome,

I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the 2019 Kia Sorrento I purchased from Kia of Enfield in February of this year. The vehicle was advertised as having 59,995 miles; however, the odometer displayed 60,400 miles upon delivery. This discrepancy, coupled with subsequent significant mechanical issues, has led to considerable financial hardship and inconvenience.

Since purchasing the vehicle, I have driven approximately 9,000 miles and incurred over $10,000 in repair costs. These repairs included, but were not limited to, replacing the catalytic converter, oil pan, brake system components, and performing a transmission fluid exchange. All repairs were completed by Firestone, a decision necessitated by my negative experience with the Kia of Enfield service department, whose staff I found to be unprofessional and unhelpful.

The extensive and unexpected repairs raise serious concerns about the pre-sale inspection and condition of the vehicle. I believe this vehicle should not have been offered for sale in its condition, presenting significant safety risks that were apparently overlooked. Given the substantial repair costs and the vehicle's current poor condition, I am deeply concerned about its long-term reliability, especially considering the remaining five years of my loan. My outstanding loan balance is $20,000.

I request your urgent attention to this matter. I am seeking a resolution that addresses the significant financial burden and safety concerns associated with this purchase. I trust you will give this matter your prompt and serious consideration.

good car but issue with car security
I got the car on 09.08.23 seller- Brien
the title number CJ3787...
HYUN.VENUE 30422F SUV.
Initially I was extremely happy and satisfied with my vehicle
Now 1 year latter I am writing to express my concern about the security of my car.
Since I got the car I began to notice issues with the car security.
I replaced alarm twice from prestige to cоmpustar believing that the issue was the alarm itself.
However despite these efforts the problems persisted.
It now became clear that the root cause of the issue is a compromised car security system.
Now I strongly suspect that someone has obtained unauthorized access to my car ,s password ,possibly due to a software leak or theft .
This has resulted in my car still being accessed without my permission multiple times
I am deeply concerned about the potential consequences of this security
breach.
With unauthorized access multiple times since i got the car up today somebody trying hаrassm. me leaving every time minor cosmetic damage inside, glue or draw with forever marker my items and more very strange things .
I would like to get info.
who had access to my key code and storage location when i got the car ?
if my car key code encrypted and secured?
What security protocols are implemented to prevent unauthorized access?
Now 1 year latter I am sure now that somebody shared my car key code with third party located locally .
What help can I get to stop/ prevent not authorized access to my car in future ?How ensure my car code stored in a highly secure digital environment and protected from unauthorized access?
Can you implement Driver Preference Authorization (D P A) or a similar feature to prevent unauthorized access?

Poor service and over priced car
Didn't realize I overpaid for my 2021 Elantra until I couldn't get service at Gary Rome, the same place that sold me the car. He is the biggest shelter I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. He hides behind his service staff and refuses to take calls. I have a 10 year warranty on this car I purchased in November of 2023. Now in February of 2024 I'm told I'm no longer welcome there because I yelled at the ineffective service manager. I wonder how Hyundai is going to react when I send them my concerns about this dealership. Oh yeah, the car is now part of a recall for unintended acceleration.

Was in for sticker and another problem .
I went in on 5/24 too have some diagnostic test done too my car .and get my sticker .they girl in service department told me my check engine light was on lie it wasn't on said I would failmy sticker cause of some code so I called a family member.and the says she's calling her family and telling her family she was Mimi king me and then she tells my sticker expires on5/25 and I will be pulled over and arrested .sorry people like this shouldn't be in customer service the stickers expire the last day of the month .never had such insulting service at you're dealership and yes Mt car passed inspection at another place .this girl needs too be talked too .I'm disabled I think the way I was treated is discrimination .she doesn't belong behind the counter

Service Department
I called the Service Department because I was having a problem with my car and was rudely told that they were not booking appointments until January, which I get if I was just calling to make an oil change appointment, but I was not. I needed someone to look at my car and I really wanted it checked out and not have to drive it another month and a half until they would see me. Long story short, I am now going elsewhere for service.

Service customer service is terrible
I've had NOTHING but problems dealing with the service department...I wrote a bad review and was contacted by one of the managers who said they would make it right if I removed my bad review and wrote a nice one...which I did...and still having and awful time. Their communication is TERRIBLE...noone has an answer for anything...customer service is awful.

Worst customer service
I bought my car brand new from Gary Rome hyundai in 2018. Heard nothing but great things about this dealership. Sadly I learned quickly they are just like any other dealership. After 26000 miles I had to replace my tires due to them never roataing my tires even though it was advertised that they did this with oil change services and marked my tires in the green on the multi point inspection even through they were in no condition to even pass inspection. I paid for new tires they gave me a complementary alignment but could not get it to be fully aligned and still had alignment angles that were not in spec and was told there is nothing they can do about it by the service manager who could not even tell us what torque the lugnuts should be. After that every time I called for an oil change they had no avaliablity. Had a mechanic do my oil changes and tire rotations and kept documentation of everything. After 16000 miles on the new tires even with being rotated they are down past the ware bars on the tires. I contacted Gary rome about this issue and that I wanted a claim submitted with kumho tire. Which I had contacted prior to garyrome and they told me the dealer that sold the tires had to submit the claim. I provided Mr Hamel in the service department the email of the kumho dealer I dealt with and waited at the dealership for over and hour and a half for them to "take pictures" to submit the claim. I didn't hear from the dealership so after 2 weeks I made a call and was told a claim was submitted but no response from kumho. So I contacted kumho through the original email I sent. To my suprise they had no claim submitted and in order to submit a claim the tires needed to be sent to them. I sent a follow up email to Mr Hamel stating how this was a safety issue as the tires are worn and 2 of them are past the ware bars and what was the status on the claim and that i wanted the owner to be made aware of this saftey issue....NO RESPONSE!!. I have not been able to drive my car in a month due to this issue as I am afraid to get into an accident when raining as it's like being on ice or blowing out a tire due to how worn they are....this should not be happening! And still not messages back or call u til today I got a call saying. Hi I'm calling from Gary rome you called to set up a maintenance appt. I said absolutely not I have not called I am waiting for call back on a tire safety issue. I asked to speak with the owner and Was sent to a woman's voicemail which I belive was a manager and left a message and STILL NO CALL BACK.

Great service on an awful product
I was in a very frustrating situation where my transmission failed for a second time in 8000 miles. They tried everything they could to get me in a lease and get to my car ASAP. I appreciate the urgency but this should have never needed to happen.

I had to take my Tucson to be serviced and from the time i got there to the time i left, i had excellent service. As i drove the car to the service area i was greeted and met by someone to leave the vehicle and go right in to customer service.
