Dear Mr. Lee,
You told me the dealer would not align your vehicle, and gave no specific reason. We even joked about a Mitsubishi dealer not being able to work on their own brand vehicle, possibly because your Mitsubishi Pajeo was an import (not sold in the USA), right hand drive vehicle, regardless, we can work on almost any vehicle. We test drove the vehicle and also felt the issues you were concerned with. Once in the shop, we completed the pre alignment inspection and found the REAL reason the dealer declined the alignment. Your vehicle has LOOSE suspension parts (ball joints) and play/looseness in both front wheel bearings, the right side being worse. An alignment cannot be done with loose suspension parts. In an alignment, the wheel is aligned by adjusting the suspension and those loose suspension parts make a proper alignment impossible. We noted these details on your work order, even told you once the loose parts were replaced an alignment COULD be performed. We charged for the comprehensive inspection we did. We believe in honesty and integrity and strive for happy customers. If what we gave you was the same info the dealer gave you, it would have been helpful if you were upfront with us when the vehicle was dropped off as you told us they give you no specific reason.
