Great service!
I've taken my car here several times, and each time the customer service is great, and the work has been excellent. Because of the pandemic, they were able to provide a loaner car, and a no-contact exchange, which was super helpful. I appreciated that, and highly recommend them.

Easy appointment as I was contacted by phone to go over the work specified on my request at dropoff written on provided envelope. Called back when I received the voice mail message. Spoke to Susan and she also agreed with what I was asking for and went very smoothly. Also when car was ready, I evidently called the Garage just before Susan was going to call me so beat to the punch. We discussed the tech's findings and then completed the transaction with CC and then I agreed to pick up car later and instructed Susan where to place my car key. Thanks for the easy and friendly service and do recommend for car maintenance for local South Burlington car owners. Thanks!

Stellar work, stellar people
I went to GG yesterday because my car is 4 months overdue for an oil change, they have great reviews, they’re woman-owned, and they’re between home and work. This was hella practical decision making on my part.

So, because the techs do an initial (complementary) drive and assessment on each car, they could tell us the backlog of work we needed; which, maybe under other circumstances I might find that dodgy, but we’ve gone years without taking our Hondas to the shop, weird noises be damned. Both Michelle and Susan factored in our cost considerations, and telling us what’s immediate need vs. can wait vs. keep-an-eye-out vs. DIY. They expressed zero pressure about doing any of the repairs. It was...refreshing. So refreshing, in fact, that when my spouse’s car broke *yesterday* in a freak incident, I made him tow it to GG. I’ve already spoken with them twice today.

I have truly no skin in this game. These aren’t friends or acquaintances or anybody I ever met before. They’re just good humans who run a business, and they’re my new people.

Holy Pizzoli.......The People at Girlington Have Become My Friends
Who would have thunk it! Every single person I have communicated with at Girlington has been fabulous. They are scrupulously honest and take the time to explain complex technical matters. I especially like their way of explaining alternatives. Sometimes a complete fix is not necessary to keep a car going. Wow, I have never been given those choices before. They are sooooooo good at preserving my vehicles mechanical condition, I kind of consider them automotive guardians. They freely let me use a loaner car and went out of their way to insure that everything was top drawer. It simply doesn't get any better than this. You are nuts if you take your car anywhere else. I'm in the process of selecting a nearly new used car. Guess who is going to give that car a complete shakedown before I buy it. Girlington for sure.

Dear Demeny and John:

Thank you so very much for making our old trusty SAAB 93 feel like a new vehicle. Handles better, rides better, and is a pleasure to drive as it was when it was new. As always, it was done on time and within the repair quote given to us a week in advance of the work getting done. So sorry that I was not able to be in direct contact with all of you there, but we were able to keep one another safe throughout. Courteous, quick and thorough
The complimentary inspection I received was cheerful, thorough and professional. I did not feel pressured to buy parts or have service done, though they did let me know about some potential service I will require in the future. The staff (I talked with Susan and Michelle) was personable, considerate and explained the no-contact process clearly. They also quickly gave me a specific cost I requested. I was impressed overall and will certainly return as I feel they are trustworthy and competent. The only downside I found was too many initial email/texts, but those will lessen after a time.

Way overcharged - not coming back
I was given an estimate for $2400 on my 2011 Subaru Impreza. I was hoping to get more years out of it, but the price to fix was too steep so I had resigned myself to trading it in for a new vehicle. My friends urged me to bring it to at least one other shop that they recommended, so I did today. The total work came out to $1100 for the SAME WORK. Less than half of what Girlington Garage quoted me!! The garage looked at your quote and said that I'd get a better deal at a DEALERSHIP. Shameful. I almost gave up on this vehicle because of Girlington, and I see now it was foolish to trust such a quote. I haven't taken to google yet, but I will certainly be informing the people who told me about this garage of the insane prices.
