Absolutely do not, under any circumstances take your car here. They tried charging us over $1300 for work that was NEVER done! Crook is such a perfect name. We ended up using Phil Newman in Westerly who is very reliable.
Absolute criminals. My fiance took her jeep there to fix a noise. The first visit, they did a bunch of work on it that we were not given a work order for or approved of in any way. The bill came to over $1000. The car also needed to stay the night when they originally said it would be ready in time.
After it finally being ready after a 2 hour wait the following day, the noise still wasn't fixed. She was told to bring the car back another day and they would fix it for free and it would take two hours. It was finished right before close, she was charged over $300 for yet another part she never approved for, and guess what? It's still making the noise. This is the worst mechanic we've ever encountered. Stay. Away. Seriously. Terrible business, terrible mechanics, terrible people.
Spoke with Alex. He said it was really good but only thing is, when he got his vehicle back, the sensor was bent and he had to fix it himself, a minor inconvenience.
Great service! Sudden engine problem, they diagnosed on the phone! 2 hours after drop off it is fixed! Clean work and extras like new wipers make my life easier for the upcoming winter. I highly recommend! Thanks!
I Needed some engine work, they contacted me to tell me about other work that could be done and save me labor. My car will run longer and save me money in the long run. Bottom line, I completely trust Glenn and Harold Crooks Garage
Andrew said he got his vehicle in within a reasonable amount of time and they contacted him about what was wrong with it. They gave him a price estimate ahead of time. It was seamless and it was great.
