Knowledgeable, Honest, Fair pricing
Heatherdowns Automotive is an excellent place to have your car fixed when you have any mechanical problems. They are trustworthy, which is invaluable when it comes to a mechanic. Took my car there thinking I needed 4 rotors and breakfast, but they said all I needed was just the two rotary, which saved me a ton of money. That is only one of the examples. Called around for pricing on the rotors first, and Heatherdowns auto was by far the lowest price. The staff is very friendly and you can't go wrong to take your car there for repairs!!!

Reliable—Trustworthy—Honest
I have been trusting my automobile repairs to Heatherdowns since I found Jim in the 1970’s. As a divorced single mom and public school teacher, I was struggling financially and driving old cars. The team at Heatherdowns always kept me on the road. Last weekend my Honda began acting very strange, and I just made it home. First thing Monday I called Heatherdowns and spoke with Bill. Despite their being swamped, he said to have it towed over and he would try to fit it in. The needed new alternator was installed by Tuesday noon.
Despite no longer living in Beverly, I will always bring my cars to Heatherdowns.

Wonderful experience
I had an electrical problem with my van and this shop was recommended to me. I was able to drop it off the same day. Since the van started sporadically, they kept it for a few days and started it multiple times. They were actually able to determine that the lift we installed in the back had a switch that needed to be turned off when not in use. It turned out to be a simple fix but I really felt confident that the problem was solved. And the charge was very reasonable. Highly recommend. This will be my new “go to” mechanic. Really nice people!
