Best Mechanic in Costa Mesa
These people are amazing! Daron and his Sister are great at what they do. I have a Lexus that started giving me problems. I took it to another shop who said there were so many diagnostic codes that they said they couldn't work on it and I had to take it to the dealer. The dealer found 28 diagnostic codes and quoted me the work. I called Herb's Garage and Daron quoted me significantly lower prices so I took it there. It took a few weeks to fix the issue because there were so many codes. Even after they fixed the noticeable issue (rough idle), the check engine would still come on. They finally fixed that issue. The car was a problem with only 60k miles. Daron and his team definitely worked hard on it and solved the difficult problem. They were gracious enough to help out with a rental for a little bit of time too. They charged very reasonable prices, especially for the amount of work performed. Car now runs great. It's safe to say that I finally found a mechanic who I consider my mechanic.

Prompt friendly service
I was in need of two new tires; which had to be ordered. The very next day, first thing in the morning the tires arrived and my planned weekend out of town was not delayed by my unexpected flat tire. Daron and Jake always take such good care of me. I never feel taken advantaged by Herbs Garage. Daron is always honest about what maintenance services I really need and he tells me what services should be done at a later time. I keep.coming back.

Steer Clear of These Guys!
Steer clear of these guys! We paid them thousands of dollars, got the car back, it didn't work, and they refused to take care of it without us paying them more money. People like this are why mechanics have a bad reputation for being untrustworthy. Such a shame.

Las Vegas baby
I saw a beautiful red and white Crown Victoria 1957 and I pulled over. I went inside and was so impressed with the friendliness of the staff. I am moving to Huntington Beach and look forward to doing business with them. Their reviews are excellent and I trust the reviews.
