This was my first time getting my car serviced at Highland Park Service Center, and George was professional and knowledgeable throughout our entire encounter. He discussed all of my car's issues with me (total for everything would've been ~$1500) and walked me through different options I had without pressuring me to make a decision quickly. I'm confident that my car was well taken care of and really owe it to him for the excellent experience I had here.

The Saga of Moby Dick and excellent auto repair
Biblical stories may be fictional to some, but the literary masterpiece by Herman Melville titled
Moby Dick could not be more relevant than in today's crazy frenetic world. Through the trials of
Captain Ahab , no, not Gregory Peck, who sought revenge upon that Great White Whale that
previously took his leg, we get a wonderful maritime adventure story, one that really had deeper
religious meaning, that we had to read in high school in our younger days, which spoke of the dangers
of whaling and its horrors, not much unlike the dangers and horrors of getting one's precious cars and
other vehicles repaired when they are in trouble , or missing a " Leg " so to speak.

As the story unfolds, you too can " Call Me Ishmael ", ah, you knew that was coming, but with the help
of sailors on the Pequod like Ishmael and his friend Queequeg, along with the First mate Starbuck,
who all served the crazed Captain Ahab with his revenge problem, ..whaling was dangerous enough
and with an unlucky harpooning of a very angry whale, you could end up on a "Nantucket Sleighride"
and end up not getting your leg back but also losing your life as you are pulled down into the cold and
unforgiving briny deep. But with the superb auto establishment of Highland Park Service Center in
beautiful downtown Highland Park, run by co-owners and mechanics Gedalia and George, along with
a real great first mate mechanic Louie, as well as body shop men, you can forget about getting wrapped
up around the angry carcass of a great white whale like Moby Dick and unlike Ishmael who was the
sole survivor of that tragic story, you can pick up your vehicle knowing that it has been well repaired,
checked out thoroughly and priced fairly for the work done. These are all fine hard working men whom
i have known for years and trust my life and that of my wife to, ..yes, we finally got hitched. My beloved
Bonneville will be thirty years young next month and it still runs like a Swiss or is it a Detroit watch.
So will your baby run as well too.

Shop local when you can, it builds strong communities and always support your local Police, Firemen
and Emergency first responders who are your neighbors quite often and top notch well trained
professionals who are the best here in Highland Park. Peace to you all.
