Saved us in a stressful situation!
Thank you to Garrett and the service team for fixing our vehicle in an emergency. After my first oil change (one week ago) on my new 2025 Santa Fe Hybrid, the service team where I bought the car failed to tighten the oil plug, and while we were four hours from home (on vacation), my car had a huge oil leak in the parking lot where we were eating lunch. The local Hyundai service center closed at noon and couldn't help us until Monday, but we were authorized to tow it to Mckinney (30+ minutes away). They could fix it immediately and even took pictures so we could show the other service center. My family and I are forever grateful for you and the team!

Disappointing Service
Took my car in Jan 31, 2025 due to transmission issues. Car has 22,000 miles and has had the transmission replaced twice. Dealing with Hyundai and Lemon Law. Dealership management has not bothered to reach out to me at all, and my car is still in their shop. Don’t believe the false advertising of this dealership!

Have cash to buy the vehicle but not willing to fly to TX to pick it up. Not sure why you sell online with no option to ship. Your rep stated you guys "do not get involved with shipping." My only option is to move on.

Great experience!
I went on January1,2025 to look at a specific preowned vehicle that I’d seen online.
Xavier was out to meet us right away. Very pleasant and helpful. Professional demeanor. No pressure. Answered all my questions in a non patronizing way. Showed me features about the car that I was not familiar with. It took a few minutes for me to decide (because this is a major purchase), he allowed me time to think about it without feeling rushed at all. I was also offered a price for my trade in that was more than fair. When I made the decision to buy we went to his office, signed some forms, met with the finance director who was also very kind and patient, explaining everything carefully. He also offered a discount on the extended warranty. It took just a very little amount of time. While we were in the office they filled the car with gas and detailed. Which was no small task because they were short staffed due to it being a holiday. So, moments after the business was taken care of, I was driving away in my new car. The whole experience could not have been better.

Amiable, knowledgeable, responsive, a FIVE-STAR experience from beginning to end…Thank YOU DJ!
I recently purchased a Hyundai Palisade from Huffines of McKinney from DJ Johnson.

The experience was efficient, transparent, and enjoyable. DJ provided excellent and responsive customer service. He listened, presented me with options that matched my list, and never took my business for granted. I very much appreciated his level of engagement and timely communication. I never felt pressured, but I knew DJ was interested in gaining our business through solid product knowledge, building a rapport with not only me, but my husband and son, and working to bring me the best deal possible. The stellar customer service did not end with the signature on the dotted line. DJ spent time with my family to ensure we understood the technology and had our questions answered before we left the lot.

In the end, it was not just the Palisade, but it was also DJ who helped sway me from the original vehicle that topped my list. I look forward to enjoying a long relationship with Huffines Hyuandi because of the positive start with the sales department. Thank you, DJ!

Unhelpful and unresponsive
I purchased my brand new 2023 Hyundai Santa Cruz in July, 2023. First, the Hyundai website listed that there was a $2,500 rebate if the vehicle was financed. Near the end of signing all of the paperwork, I was told that the rebate was in fact only $500 and it was a system error so I would not get the full $2,500.

A few months later, with less than 5k miles on my car, I received a chip in my windshield (and then quickly another and many many more). Upon inspection, it was determined that my windshield was Aftermarket, not OEM parts. Imagine my surprise in finding out my brand new car had Aftermarket parts. I have contacted Huffines Hyundai multiple times to remedy this situation only to be told that "we don't sell Aftermarket parts" and yet here we are. They have essentially called me a liar even though I have photo evidence of the day my vehicle was purchased which proves my windshield is aftermarket. At no point during the sale or in any of the paperwork that I was given does it mention Aftermarket parts. I also verified my windshield's lack of authenticity with another Hyundai dealer. I have since been ignored with my most recent two requests.

Do not go to this dealership if you value your money, the quality of your vehicle, or customer service in general. Try any of the other dozen Hyundai dealers in the DFW area.

Great customer service
I took my Santa Fe in for an inspection and a tire rotation on a Friday morning.
I was greeted by a nice young man, Justin Franklin, who was extremely helpful. The service department was very busy and was running a little behind, Justin was great and kept me informed of the progress of my vehicle.
Due to the service, kindness, & consideration of Justin I am glad I chose Hyundai McKinney to service my car.

Take my car in for recalls, they tell me they were all completed, and advised I needed to replace front shock assembly and had to order part, never called me back when part was ready, then to find out they never actually completed any of the recalls

Horrible Service
I own a IONIQ 5, and having issues with charging the car. In the last service when I raised concern about that they told it will be fixed in a recall that they are going to do, even after that I kept seeing the issue. When I gave the car for service again, they kept the car with them for 36 hours and have been telling the technician is still working on it to see what's the issue. I saw the Hyundai bluelink application and the vehicle is not even connected for charge to look into the issue and they have been telling me someone is looking at it. They will not give any estimate by when they can give the car and will not provide any loaner as well.

Huffines service department in McKinney on my vehicle!!
I bought my first Hyundai a few years ago. I have dealt with George in Service a few times and he’s so great. Friendly, kind, smart, keeps me posted on progress, etc. I will but my next vehicle from Huffines because I feel so secure because of George!

Just purchased our 4th car from Huffines McKinney and it was awesome
We talked to DJ and it was a very easy process. We bought our previous car from DJ and he actually remembered us from last time, which is kinda nice. He was able to pull up what we selected last time where we could pick and choose what we wanted this time. It was a very easy process.
If you are looking for a new car, check out Huffines McKinney and ask for DJ.

Great Salesman!
Dealan Blake was tremendous salesman. He directed us to the vehicle we wanted, a 2023 Santa Fe with low mileage since we dislike the 2024, and was consistently courteous and polite while we looked around at other dealers to verify the value of what Huffines offered. Then he welcomed us back to the dealership when we decided to buy and completed the paperwork quickly. I may never buy another car due to my age, but, if I do, Dealan with definitely be my salesman!

Great experience! DJ Johnson was excellent!
I cannot say enough about my car buying experience at Huffines. I was very undecided on what brand SUV I wanted. I had been looking for the last 6 weeks and test drove everything from a Tahoe to a Mercedes GLE and Lincoln Navigator. I came in and test drove a Palisade and was so disappointed when the car I wanted sold. I returned the next day to show my husband and son the car interior after a Kia Telluride test drive. We met DJ for the 1st time. He was so knowledgeable about the Palisade, showing us all the great features, explaining how the dealership service/maintenance worked etc. He was thorough, patient, funny and did not pressure us at all. I left that night with a new car! The financing process was easy, fast and the staff was friendly and efficient. I will definitely recommend Huffines and DJ to any friend or family looking for a new car!
