Genesis Recall - Major Issues
If I could leave ZERO stars for this dealership, I would. I took my 2017 Genesis G80 in for recall repairs on 8/14. This is my second Genesis, and I have loved both of them, and was considering trading this car in for a Palisade, but I will NEVER EVER buy another Hyundai of any kind and I certainly won't buy anything from this dealership. Following the repair, I drove the car ~15-16 miles and all the warning lights on the dash came on, the steering locked, and the outside lights were flickering. Keep in mind that two of the recall repairs were related to fuses.
Luckily, I was pulling into my driveway when things went south, or it could have been a much worse situation. I called the service department the next day as soon as they opened. After calling NINE times with no answer, I finally got to someone who said, "if you can get it to us, we'll take a look and see what's going on". The car was clearly not driveable. They would not even offer to tow the car because "how do we know it's related to our work - things happen all the time where people have a car serviced and something goes wrong the next day - if it's related to something we did we'll see how we can help you with the tow cost" Ultimately, I had to pay to have it towed back to them (it's not at all about the cost of the tow - that cost is very minor - it's the principal and lack of customer service that is so HORRIFIC). When the car arrived, they read the codes and told me my alternator was bad, it would be $1400 to replace, and it would take 30 days to get the parts and complete the work. In other words, the issues were completely unrelated to the work they did on my car the prior day. Prior to this, the car was having absolutely ZERO issues, but magically, now I need an alternator. I've had alternator issues before. NOTHING works. That is not what happened to my car. Everything was blinking and flashing and alarming. It is SHAMEFUL that this service department is so poorly managed and takes ZERO responsibility for the messes they make. You can see from other reviewers here that I'm not the only one they have screwed over. STAY AWAY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP AND ESPECIALLY FROM THIS SERVICE DEPARTMENT. They are completely incompetent, irresponsible, have ZERO customer service skills, do NOT stand behind their work, and they put everything on the owner. Photos included below of the lights and insanity that came up on the dash following the recall work on fuses that, according to them, was unrelated to these issues.

STAY AWAY
I have never experienced Worse Customer Service with any company in my life, no one ever answers the phone, takes forever to get a service appointment, and even when you want to talk to the manager he never calls you back.
I curse the day I ever bought a vehicle from this dealership, do yourself a favor Stay Away from these people.

Fraudulent Sale!
Fraudulent Sale!
Purchased a Genesis G80 (2023), back in June 2023. I was told by the salesman and sales manager that the said vehicle was a Certified Pre-Owned vehicle. Salesman even showed me a document, stating it was one of there fleet vehicle's. Found out in February of 2024 from Genesis Corporate that said vehicle was not a CPO vehicle. Since then I have been dealing with management who are unresponsive and not willing to resolve this issue. Salesman was Skip and sales manager doesn't work there anymore. Director of sales Mr. Keith Helms has lied to Genesis Corporate (stating that he has followed up with the customer) and has been unresponsive in the matter. Filed a complaint with Genesis Corporate, Georgia Consumer Protection, and the BBB.

"Ambushed at service desk"
1 star 12/09/2023 DO NOT buy or service a Hyundai or Genesis from this dealer! On August 23, 2023 I had a 930 appt made for warranty work for a fuel system repair on my 2019 Genesis G90 Ultimate. This dealer had serviced it since 4 yrs new, the only ones to touch it and I got to know many of the sales and service staff well over time to include the General Mgr/ partner Pete Szekely. Also I purchased a brand ..new 2021 Hyundai Palisade from them and sent good business their way. Subsequently, both cars suffered service blunders, which I forgave them for as things happen. One Genesis oil change, a shroud covering the oil pan was not secured causing it the next day to drop down scraping the ground on a busy interstate at 75mph making a horrible noise causing me to be on a dangerous shoulder to ck it. This The day before I was to take a 2,500 mi trip with it. While making the appt for warranty work, I indicated to Christina I did not want anyone stupid or lazy to work on it, referring to the oil change mishap. { keep in mind these people do not return calls and emails and it took weeks just to get hold of her to set this up, so I am frustrated} She objected to my use of words and said I could not say that word! I said what? I disagreed and had a right to I say that after I saw it as a stupid or lazy incident which greatly inconvenienced and endangered me, particularly since this is luxury car concierge so they claim. So, I arrive there on the 23rd for the warranty service to be met at the counter by Zack who I do not know and is in full "bar room bouncer mode" who presents with threatening body language and size asking "are you the guy that called all of us stupid and lazy?" I get it now, they elected you to try to "scare" me with your bar room bouncer stance. {they don't know me| I have dealt with many like you in my past and am not amused and do not blink or scare. I told him what I actually said to Christine and he just looks at me. I then asked "can I trust you to work on my car?" Silence. Asked him again and he says "can you?" I said "can I?" I ask again and he says "maybe?" Next went to the sales area looking for G Mgr Pete Szekely who was conveniently "not available." A new sales mgr I did not know heard my name and then said to me "Oh, you are the guy that called all of us stupid and lazy." Obviously, there was to be NO work done this day or ever after. All these years of service and buying another 50k car and sending them my Dr. who wanted to buy a new Genesis ev meant zero. [they jerked my Doctor friend on price, he saved thousands going to Jim Ellis} Because low level Christina lied, or lies spread falsely?????? Apparently, all of them got together to set my wife and I up to sandbag and ambush us as everyone I knew there was conveniently missing including the "Gen Mgr owner partner Pete Szekely and numerous sales staff all running away in fear. These evil people planned this against us.. who had treated them very well and were understanding when the Palisade was trouble and the car was damaged by them. Please note, my wife and I are in our late seventies and wasted a whole half day of time and driving to be abused. In the weeks that followed, civil messages were left of Szekely's phone requesting a call to discuss this. Zero response from a feckless weasel of a man. If you read this and deal with and are hurt by these EVIL TOXIC scumbags, it's on you. Some of the sales staff are decent folks here, but now I would not take a free Hyundai or Genesis from any of them because of Hyundai Genesis of Cumming. Additionally, I would NOT do business with any of the large Krause family of multi brand dealerships that owns this one. Make sure you CK that before shopping!

service appt
Once you purchase (they have your money) it is next to impossible to get a service appt, phones are rarely answered and service appt are so far out even when you have an engine malfunction.
They have 60 loaner cars, but all are spoken for.
that tells you right there, there is a problem with Hyundai. Do not buy a Hyundai. If I can get rid of this one, I never will again.

Failed to communicate correctly over promised and could not resolve with a service issue with in 30 days.
Don't let the positive reviews on Google fool you. This dealership is unbelievable HORRIBly managed and quite frankly Deceptive.

I counted there are about 60 unique Negative 1 STAR Google reviews for this dealer from former customers in the last year.
This will be 61 but I am sure their is more negative reviews on Better Business Bureau. Please research!
Don't be the person writing the 62nd 1 STAR Review. Simply consider another place for better "Service".

Perhaps the single worst experience at a dealership I have ever experienced.
I have never experienced the same lack of responsiveness as I did from this dealership. I left 4 messages over a week and a half for my service advisor and never received a call back. Finally another advisor (Liam) called and he was awesome. However the 'manager' that I also left messages for could not find the time to call me back. I was told by my advisor he would call and apologize - but only crickets. I love my Genesis but would NEVER consider buying a car at this dealership.
When I finally received my car back, the rear windows and locks actuators did not work. According to the dealership it was a simple coincidence. perhaps - but a very strange one! Liam did his best to rectify the problem so the issue must be with the management of the dealership. For a luxury brand they could take lessons from Walmart.
