SOLD A LEMON!!!!!
I wish I would have read the reviews before purchasing my vehicle from Hyundai of Silsbee. The salesman was extremely nice and helpful. However, I have had issues with the vehicle recently and they have not been of any help thus far. I do not recommend them at all.

Sold a lemon!!
I highly do NOT recommend getting a car from this company!!!!! I was sold a car who doors do NOT lock and I was promised that they would fix this issue!!! Not to mention the car killed on me while driving on the highway within 2 months of me purchasing it!!! I brought the car back AGAIN to have door locks looked at and I was told by the service manager that one of salesmen stated that they are NOT paying to fix the issue, when they knew that problem had to be fixed before I purchased the car!! This company makes promises and do not keep them!!! I highly do not recommend this dealership to anyone!

Bait and Switch
I received a letter from Elvis with a handwritten note "Can we buy your car? Elvis 409-207-8317" and "Offer $10,715". When I called to speak with Elvis, I gat a text from Shay wo, after a few texts, confirmed that the offer is correct and valid. Later, I was called by another employee who, after two phone calls, stated that the note I received wasn't actually an offer, it was merely stating the max for which a like-in-kind vehicle had sold in the US and is, in reality "bait" (my word, not hers but, she agreed) just to get me to come in after which they would provide me with an actual, but considerably lower, offer. I get it. They are a business and want to make as much as possible on every deal. But, of they start out sleezy and dishonest, they aren't likely to suddenly develop scruples and morals when there is actual money on the table. It took 9 text messages and 2 phone calls to get an admission that the handwritten offer from the Sales Manager is a bait and switch scam. Do business here at your own risk . . . or peril.

No follow up team
Attempted to purchase a SUV. Manager was polite on initial visit. However after that no real follow up. Salesman didn't really do anything either. Internet prices are posted low so a $2800 addendum can be added. Thats their pricing method to get you in to the store. Any questions 409.293.8516. Still no call from them either. Got a follow call next to let me know they had a vehicle that might work for the different financing options. No calls after that. Said the manager would call and give me the details...no call. Texted the salesman...no response. Staff is nice if you are there but they do not call you back.

Shady practices'
I purchased a SUV from them in 2019. The sale went thru fine, no issues. A year later they start calling me asking me to sell the car back to them because they do not have enough stock of older cars. After 20 plus calls (mostly voicemails) I ask them to stop calling me on this and then blocked their number. I then receive an email from the corporation about national recalls and that any Hyundai dealership will repair them free of charge. So I make an appointment and drive up there for the repairs, only to be told that they have parts for 2 of the 3 recalls. 1 of the repairs will costs me, 1 of the repairs they have to order the part for and will contact me when it comes in. Now the 1 that I would have to pay for, after talking to the manager, was informed they made a mistake and I did not have to pay for. But that was only after talking to a manager was hat resolved. It's been 8 months and I still haven't heard back from the service dept about the recall part they had to order. I had to drive to a Hyundai dealership in Houston who had the part and repaired it in about 15 minutes. They informed me all dealerships should have the part in stock since it was a common part. So today 3 years later, I get a call from a Virginia number and when I answer it, guess what? It's Hyundai Silsbee asking if I'm interested in selling my SUV back to them. When I declined, I was asked why. I declined 3 more times and each time was ignored and The person was going down a required question checklists. I disconnected the call from the Virginia number and blocked it. I then called the main number and asked for a manager only to be transferred to someone that is not a manager to be told that there is no manager available and that he will have one call me back at their connivence. Poor customer service, shady practices, and they keep calling back thinking that's what is going to make me want to go back and do business with them?

Poor service
I purchased the car from this dealership back in 2018 and decided to go back in May of 2023. I went on a Sunday, and the salesperson said he would call me back Monday-they never ran my information till Wednesday then said were working on the deal, and then he stopped answering my calls. The salesperson give you the run-around and never called me back. ignored my calls about how you sell a car. I went to Houston and bought a brand-new car. Poor service. Never returning here. salesperson Ladell

Go see Karen! She's a rockstar!
Love my new Santa Fe, and love the attention to detail Karen gave us from the first telephone call to the final sale. Time for paperwork was lengthy, but I've never bought a car anywhere that you aren't there for hours. I will definitely return for any future sales.

Terrible Service after the sale
My mother recently bought a top of the kine SUV from this dealer. The car has less than 3k miles and has been in the shop twice for transmission issues. The service dept. has held her car hostage for over a week, no one calling or updating her on what exactly the issue is. She is having to pay an exhorbitante amount of money for a rental bc HER BRAND NEW CAR is broken. If I could give this dealer 0 stars I would. Do not buy from them or use their service department.

Absolutely Horrible
The service was terrible. My car was there over a week and I wasn't contacted by anyone for an update. I had a hard time contacting anyone in service. I would not buy a car here if was 5 dollars.

Terrible customer service (other than Alex)
I had very high hopes as I initially had contact with Alex a sales rep. Alex is great and informative. Unfortunately there was another employee I had the displeasure in speaking with. I wish I had his name to let the management know how unprofessional he was. We have been searching for a 2023 Palisade XRT AWD which are hard to find apparently. This degenerate tells me the Palisade does not come in an XRT package. I let him know that it does. He repeated "no it doesnt". Then asked me who told me this. I told him the Hyundai website tells me this along with 8 other dealerships I have spoken with along with the XRT I found that had been sold but I saw it with my own eyes. The sales person only laughed and said "ya ok, well good luck with that because you wont find it and we wont order it for you". I asked his name and he only laughed again and said "I will tell Alex you called." I asked his name again and he said the same thing and would not give me his name. My wife heard the entire conversation. Because of this, we will not be buying from this dealership ever. One employee can change the view of your company. When we purchase the Palisade XRT we will make sure to drive through the parking lot to show the staff there that this vehicle...that they sell....exists. I only feel bad for Alex not being able to get the sell because he is a great and nice guy that is very helpful.

Manager and Salesman lied to my wife and I
Bad!! Gladly accepted our deposit payment but then only gave us 24 hours to travel to Silsbee to buy car by 1pm on a work day, even though they (salesman AND his manager) told us the night before we could come in after work to by vehicle. my wife was all set to come in after work to purchase, had trade-in cleaned and ready to swap. she got a text at noon saying her car was being put on lot per dealer owners request. they cancelled our hold via text, but made us call in to refund deposit. If they can't keep a promise to hold car until after work, how can we expect to keep ANY promises made.
