2015 Hyundai Sonata
I started having oil consumption problems with my Sonata 6 months ago. Since then Hyundai has never returned any of my calls and ignored me completely, hoping I'll just go away. My car is at 94000 miles and I'm guessing they are just waiting for me to hit 100000, then my warranty will expire and I'll have no claim. Before then, they were terrific. It's a shame.

poor communications
problem with oil consumption 2016 Santa Fe Sport. Made appointment to begin test procedure as specified in a TSB. Went to dealer on day of appointment and was told that test needed to be approved ahead of time. Email confirmation was received with my request for service spelt out. Wasted close to 2 hours driving there and back and waiting to be told that nothing could be done that day. Service rep said that they would check oil and top off while I was there. I checked oil level when I got home and found out that oil was still low as it was before I left from home. Very disappointed with dealer and Hyundai.

2022 Hyundai Tucson
I bought a 2022 Hyundai Tucson and it has been by far the worse vehicle I have ever bought. The service, well from having the wrong VIN # and driving several times to get the right purchase documentation, was terrible! What can I say from this purchase sou far I had been bringing this car to the dealership for repairs a total of 4 times. This vehicle is not even a year old! I believe Hyundai manufacturers really invest so much time in the look of the vehicle than reliability. It is a shame! So what kind of future am I looking at when this car becomes a yr old? I decided to bring the car to another dealership because of the “we are busy attitude of Johnson dealership” The new Tucson is by far the most unreliable vehicle of 2022. I will certainly not recommend anyone of purchasing this vehicle!! Nothing but headaches.

Worst customer service, ever
I am in the mileage reimbursement program. Whenever I want mileage checked, they will not schedule an appointment. The car needed the rotors machined at one point in the past. This dealership damaged them to the point that the car needed new rotors, and they would not admit fault nor pay for the rotors. Recently, the front passenger door handle broke. There was rarely a passenger in the vehicle, so it was not from overuse. The dealership "fixed" the handle, and I was charged for it, and then it broke, again, soon after. The dealership kept increasing the price of the handle. They kept the car 3 more weeks due to misdiagnosis. I had to contact the corporate office. I was not charged additional funds due to complaint, but after much non-use of the vehicle, the handle is again broken. Do not give your money and business to this dealership if you have an ounce of sense.

Excellent Service When We Were Travelling!
Such a pleasure to deal with the Service Department!!

On our way home to Canada from Florida, our car simply rolled into this dealership. We were met with a friendly face and very helpful people.
Without hesitation, they welcomed us and made time to look at our car.
We really appreciated this as we had a long drive home. We have never had a more professional experience at a car dealership, and we were very impressed.
Friendly and excellent service!!

Had to come back twice in one day in order to get some shorted coils replaced
So I had to bring in my vehicle for an ECM recall/update with a check engine light on and car shaking a lot. Also mentioned to svc advisor that I had changed the spark plugs about 6 months prior due to check engine light/code about coils and car shaking-waited about 3 hrs and was told that ECM update was done, that if shaking came back to bring the car back. Was also told that the car was test driven, even though it came out with the same mileage that it went in with. Red flag. When I turned the car on to leave noticed the shaking/vibrating was still there. I drove the car about 5 miles and had to bring it back because of the shaking. I was told by the 2nd svc adviser that in order for the work to be done under warranty it would need to have a check engine light on, which it didn't have. Luckily, I had left the car running and wanted to to have the svc advisor feel the vibration/shaking while the car was in drive. When we returned to the car, the check engine light was on again and at that point only, was the car taken back in and the ignition coils replaced. I waited almost 5 hrs and after two trips to the place from 9:15 a.m. to 1:56 p.m. (when I took a picture of the clock in my car at the dealership). Is this acceptable to you Jack Sheridan? I also left you a voice message when I got back to the dealership and I'm still waiting to get a call back.

Was greeted by the attendant when I first arrived was informed by him the service writer was to be with me soon show me where to go. Vinny told me that to have a seat and my writer would be right with me. He was right there fast and informed me what was going to happen to my car. Within 15 minutes he came and informed what was going on. In lest than one hour it was completed. He took to my car and to answer any questions I might have ask. All was done and I was on my way.
