Went from great review to a level of Rick Hendrick
I’ve been going to Europro for a couple of years and it was great. I published a great review on their website. I had my SUV in yesterday for service and the communications were terrible. Not only was the car not finished the day they said it would be done BUT the next day it was an hour late.
Rides back and forth were scheduled and rescheduled…my PT appointment ( paraplegic) had to be cancelled and we had asked new windshield wipers be put on the car and that wasn’t communicated or completed.
Not sure why the problems but I hope it is a short blip. I’d hate to go to Hendricks!!

Rip off!!!
I guess it’s all my fault. I scheduled just an oil change and filter my 2013 Mini Cooper and neglected to ask the price thinking they would certainly be the same or below what the local Mini dealer would charge. When I went to pick my car up I was handed a bill for $151.00. The dealer charges $104.00. Dan explained to me that they always include a couple of additives to all of their oil changes. If that is indeed their policy then I should have been told up front along with the price because that is certainly not the policy of any other shops or dealerships for a routine oil change. Buyer Beware!

BMW AC repair
If you are tired of spending money to keep the lights on at the overpriced Dealer swamp on Savanna Highway and beyond and you are driving an European Car see Dan at EuroPro. I was a walk in with a BMW AC that blew only hot air.
From diagnosing to cost estimating and job completion it was a refreshing new experience. Not only was it fair priced but the Job completed 6 hours earlier than quoted.
I truly appreciate a great honest service from a professional small business.
Lets keep them in business. We need competitors to these conglomerates with their canned/scripted politeness, which do not care about you or your vehicle
Now go out and spend the extra money you would have paid with your family and friends if you like.

BEWARE!
RUN FAR AWAY FROM THIS SHOP! I had a flooded car in Charleston, SC that was towed to EuroPro on James Island. We have used this repair shop for years prior and even for this vehicle. There was water in the engine but insurance felt that replacing the engine was the best option in my 2015 BMW X1. I've done some research and know that SC has a ‘like kind and quality' law for used parts, it has to be close to the original. My BMW had 44,000 miles. Insurance found and approved an engine with like miles, all disclosed in my estimate. In the two weeks my car was in this shop I did not receive a single phone call from EuroPro about not using the part in the estimate, as insurance will warranty parts but only those in the estimate. The engine they put in my car had 87,000 miles on it. (Close your mouth I know!). Europro’s paperwork confirms the mileage on the used engine and using an unapproved part. Again I have done some homework and know if they are using parts outside of the insurance estimate they have to get approval, which did not happen. Mine or the insurance company, I've talked to the adjuster. I also know that I am entitled to the invoice from the used parts put in my vehicle. I have requested these invoices for WEEKS and have gotten nothing but the run around and management avoiding my phone calls. When I asked DAN, the shop manager what the mileage was on the engine he said he didn't know and I would have to get the paperwork from my insurance. WRONG ANSWER! My insurance company didn't purchase the engine, the shop did! I've confirmed this. Nevertheless the shop reported there was NO water damage inside my BMW and there was. The car should have been totaled. But I'm sure it wasn't totaled so Dan could make a paycheck on my insurance claim. Ive had to get a diagnostic done at BMW for a service engine light that came on less than 250 miles after the car was picked up, it ran A LOT louder (in my opinion because of a crappy engine) and I've had to hire an outside appraiser to petition the insurance company to total my car ALL AT MY OWN EXPENSE! The owner of the shop CAL BAKER is SEXIST and a MISOGYNISTIC PIG who has done nothing to rectify the problem but insinuate that I am a stupid woman and have no idea what I'm talking about. RUN FAR AWAY FROM THIS SHOP!

Excellent alternative to the over expensive dealership
I always bring my Mercedes’ here. They are honest and do excellent work, and they take time to listen to what you need and don’t try to rip you off like the dealership.

As always, the service is fantastic! They always send a text and tell you what they found and exactly what the cost is. I have complete trust in them and would never go anywhere else.

They also let you know what should be done down the line and the time table for it. Always thorough about everything!

Jorge said he walked into this business and told them his situation, he paid them as much as he could, and they were very nice and respectful. He stated he felt very comfortable with the staff and this made him definitely wanted to come back again. Auto service home away from home
Honest, forthcoming, and interested in customer care. I am visiting my daughter on James Island from West Virginia and needed hydraulic suspension work done on my Mercedes SUV. I was very pleased with the service.

The location is very convenient for me.
I have taken my foreign cars to Baker for years and the service is always very good. I took my 2013 Volvo for 60,000 mile service and was a bit taken back by the cost, $770. Since I was not informed of what to expect I guess I was surprised that it was this high, however the work is always excellent and I trust the service provided. Perhaps just giving me an idea of the cost range prior, would have helped me absorb this a bit better. Just a bit of better communications would help. Thanks.

I have needed major repairs in the past - like whole new engine major - and recently new suspension. Dan and his team always go above and beyond to deliver the most cost- effective repairs I have needed.
