Only one key fob on delivery!?
My daughter bought a used car here and had it delivered. They delivered it with only one key fob and now want $400 for a second one. This was never disclosed during the buying process and Koons refuses to supply the second Mazda OEM fob at their expense. Total BS.

Great salesperson at Koons Hyundai
Michael Watson provided a wonderful sales experience. He took our call right away, was ready for us when we arrived, had the car in stock as promised and arranged a test ride, estimate on a trade in, negotiated a fair price, answered all our questions about buying an EV (new EV owners) so we felt confident and prepared. He set up the internal systems, and he provided a quick and wonderful buying experience.

Purchased warranty but dealership failed to submit to warranty company
I purchased a new 2020 Hyundai Sonata new from Koons of Woodbridge Hyundai on 05/26/2020. I purchased the Gold level extended warranty in the amount of $1,900 the same day. I'm now having issues with my vehicle and find out that no one from the dealership submitted paperwork for my warranty and the warranty does not exist. The only people that can help me is the Koons of Woodbridge Hyundai. I've called, emailed, "chatted" online for the past 7 days and 1 of 2 things happen, they either answer the phone and/or chat only to put me on hold and never return OR send me to a voicemail to leave a message. NO ONE will call or email me back. I received a generic email from their "general manager" in which I responded immediately to, only to never receive a response or call back. I filed a complaint with Hyundai main office 6 days ago and have not received a call or email back. I'm extremely disappointed and want to warn others to CALL YOUR WARRANTY COMPANY. Confirm that it was actually purchased before you start having issues and no one is willing to help.

Extremely Disappointed with Koons Hyundai's Customer Service
I regret to inform you about the incredibly disappointing experience I had with Koons Hyundai, specifically at the Woodbridge location. As a loyal customer who purchased my car from Koons Woodbridge Hyundai, I expected a level of service that aligns with the trust I placed in the dealership. Unfortunately, my recent encounter with Koons Hyundai has left me utterly dissatisfied. My vehicle was at the dealership for an astonishing 33 hours for a diagnostic test that I paid for, along with an oil change. Despite the substantial time spent, the diagnostic issues were not resolved. This has been a frustrating ordeal, and I am now compelled to take my car to a different dealership for the necessary repairs. Rashad Cail served as my service advisor during this unfortunate experience, and I must express my dismay at his behavior. Mr. Cail exhibited a level of rudeness and disrespect that is unacceptable. On multiple occasions, he hung up on me when I called to inquire about the status of my car and to ask questions about the diagnostic tests. Moreover, his apparent difficulty in understanding my English language spoken which made communication even more challenging. This entire situation has tarnished my perception of Koons Hyundai and has eroded the trust I initially had in your dealership. I believe it is crucial for the management to be aware of the subpar customer service and unprofessional conduct displayed by Cail. I am now left with no choice but to seek assistance elsewhere for the resolution of my car issues. I request the opportunity to speak with someone in a higher management position to discuss this matter further and provide additional details about my experience. It is my hope that my concerns will be addressed promptly and that corrective actions will be taken to prevent other customers from enduring such a disappointing encounter with Koons Hyundai.

Genuine Laziness & Lack of Customer Service
Finally had to kill a deal on a used 2020 Hyundai Elantra. The really strange thing about this is that we gave the dealership a couple of moments of grace when they showed up with huge customer service deficits. For example, we completed the paperwork on the car as it was going through their technical inspection. The salesman, Nour, said he was going to give us a call on Monday to see where the car was in its entire process. It wasn't ready for another 2 days. No problem. The car was being purchased for our daughter, so safety aspects of the car was paramount, as we conveyed to Nour. We test drove the car after its alleged technical review. New Brakes, Rotors and Tires were placed on the car as well as the car was allegedly aligned. My daughter test drove the car Wednesday evening to get a feel for the car to ensure she could handle it. At this time, I was in the passenger seat. Noticed the car shaking when braking/speeding up & pulling to the left. Notice brake pedal traveled almost to the floor. Came back & told Nour, who said he was going to escalate this process. At this time, though the car was allegedly certified previously, it was found the car had a left front bent rim. We had to wait until their "Rim Guy" was onsite to address the issue. I came in to test drive the car myself. The car was taken to be aligned within 20 min after i arrived, something that was allegedly done before I arrived. I asked to speak to a manager. Naim heard my concerns and just stared. No attempt to exercise any customer service finesse to hep the deal at all. I spoke about my concerns about the tint - He told me a story about how his girl was "allergic to the sun" and that she had dark tint. I was like what? The car is for my daughter & etc. He then says let me check on whats taking the car so long to be aligned. He came back about 30 min later saying the mechanic found a bad wheel bearing and that one would need to be ordered, No problem, grace extended yet again. I asked if he could let me know within an hour or two when the car is projected to be done due to my work. He said no problem. A few days past and I was texted by Nour that the car was ready for me to test drive. My request was not honored by the used car manager, but no problem, couldn't get there until the following day. This brings us current to killing the deal. While Nour was looking for license plates for me to test drive the car, I walked around the car inspecting it...I noticed the car had 4 different tires. I asked to let me speak to a manager. He mentioned getting Naim since he was here today and because I worked with him prior. Instead another guy comes out. He had only been there a week or two. I looked inside and saw Naim sitting down behind a desk. He couldn't bother to address me. I spoke to the person that did show. I informed him of the tires, & all he could say is that it passed inspection. Nothing about safety and etc. I decided to test drive the car. Came back and asked to speak to a manager again. Naim is still sitting down faced in my direction, but instead, the new guy shows up. I make my concerns known a final time. He gave me the, it passed inspection speech. I asked him, if you had a daughter, would you let her drive a car with 4 different tires on it? He said, "probably not". I said right, and even the manufacturer doesn't recommend the tires be mismatched in this fashion. I reminded him of how the car was supposed to be certified and aligned previously & yet it had a bent rim. He sat there looking stoically. I said not to mention the almost 22K we were about to spend in the form of a certified check, we need the tires changed. I felt we had been patient and extended grace as much as we could. He countered to split the cost of tires. In the face of this tremendous disparity of below par customer service on the part of the dealership, not to mention the original used car manager couldn't bother to get up and deal with me, made me realize, this place is not worthy of my business.

Transmission replacement
My experience was really bad. I spent $3900 for transmission replacement and they kept my car for 3weeks. Same day when I got the car I hear dragging noise whenever I step on the brakes. That’s problem wasn’t there when I took the car for repairs. I took the car back there and they wanna charge me another fees to diagnose. That really sucks.

Is buying here is a mistake
I recently bought a vehicle at Koons Hyundai what a mistake. I went by Pohanka Hyundai I noticed they offer a lot more for one thing they have a lifetime warranty on their cars also they have a 5 day car exchange. I bought a car at Koons and was not happy with it and they would not let me exchange it in one day They wanted to sell me another one for more money. This company only thinks of itself not its customers.

Went into Koons auto Woodbridge to buy a car and ended up with covid !
I went into koons auto on and Woodbridge ended up catching covid.stay away. Text the salesman and told him what happened and he said that he had a covid test the next No one was wearing a mask and there were no sanitized stations

Rude and expensive service
After being a consistently dissatisfied customer of this location for eight years and giving the benefit of the double a dozen times, I will never return due to my most recent experience. Koons Hyundai offers rude and borderline aggressive service staff, a dishonest and pushy sales staff, and a very expensive service department. When bringing my vehicle in for warranty service and turning down an aggressive upsell on additional service I found a completely fresh nail in my tire that was previously not there. NTB in Woodbridge is 2 miles away with a friendly staff and better, much less expensive service. If you need a dealer, Stafford Hyundai is up 95 and a far better dealer experience as well.

Takes Forever
I unfortunately purchased the service plan when I bought my Palisade at Koons. It takes a minimum of 3 hours every time you come here for service. They overbook every day and use that as their excuse for it to take forever. Every time I complain they have a different excuse. If you purchase a car from this dealership do not purchase the service plan. It’s not worth the aggravation.

I purchased a used car this weekend from Koons Hyundai and had a great experience. Andre was my salesman and Robert assisted me with financing. I haven't purchased a car in a few years and it was a very streamlined process. I am a very happy customer!

Test Drive and Purchase Kia EV6
I decided to come in to test drive the Kia EV6 and I loved the car at first site after getting a thorough explanation of all the car features from Ahmed Ahmed. He went above and beyond to make sure he explained everything that the EV6 is capable to do and it showed how knowledgeable he was on this Electric vehicle. I can say working with Ahmed was the best experience I had while purchasing a vehicle from a car dealership. I would recommend him to anyone that is looking for a new car and I would definitely want to work with him in the future again.

Purchased Kia EV6
Working with Tyler Winchell to find the right lender for my car loan and signing my financial documents, he did outstanding to set me up with comfortable car payments. His knowledge on what I should get for my new vehicle was very helpful and if I had to purchase another vehicle in the near future I would defiantly want to work with him again.
