Norm Madison opened Advanced Tire Services and Auto Repair in 1992 with the goal of serving the downtown Sacramento community. Norm retired in 2019 and Mike Spellman, an automotive technician since 1992, took over the ownership of the shop and renamed it to Mike and Sons Automotive, Inc. in honor of his three sons. Oil Change
I scheduled an appointment for an oil change and was able to have my car serviced the following morning, very convenient and reliable service. Froylan was my service advisor who worked with me throughout my maintenance that day. When coming in they go above and beyond to check everything you may need looked at than just the oil. Making sure your vehicle is safe, maintained and up to date. I really appreciated the system they share with their customers where you can see everything they looked at with pictures to show. My bf found them online and admired their reviews. The service and recommendations were much appreciated and I didn’t feel pressured into any other service like other places may make you feel.

Thorough and professional
These guys build confidence. Identified the dash light problem - boom. Cost & time to fix - boom. Delivered on time - boom. Bill dropped $300 from approved estimate because they found a money saving workaround - BOOM!

My long time friend (Ford Expedition) passed away!
I brought my car in and was treated to a professional warm friendly atmosphere. The problem my vehicle had was very uncommon and was diagnosed and outlined to me in a manner that allowed me to make a financial decision suited to me. Well done yet again!!
My family and I had to go to Tahoe for Christmas. The impending snowstorm that is said to have dropped 100 inches of snow or 8.3 feet of snow, Gabe cause for concern. Although my tires were only 32,000 miles old, I thought I should get new tires for the new year and to keep my family safe. I called Mike and Sons Monday evening and they were Kind enough to get me in the very next day. By 5 PM I had a complete service on my Ram truck and brand new set of Michelin Defender tires. You can't get better than that. Well done Mike & Sons. GK
