We are sorry to hear that your experience at Renton Collision Center was unsatisfactory. Customer service is our most important goal and has been for the 32 years we have been in Renton serving our community.
Unfortunately after writing their initial estimate your insurance company called us and put a STOP WORK on your vehicle after it arrived at our shop. They conducted an investigation on your claim and the damages that were on your vehicle. They sent a representative to physically look at your vehicle here at our shop. They ended up denying multiple damaged areas and stating it was not part of this claim. They took weeks to make this decision. We do not have control over this process. We did have conversations and emails with you as we were awaiting your insurance company's decision. This situation was unfortunate for both of us and understandably very frustrating. We were very surprised at your review since on delivery of your vehicle you acknowledged what had transpired and were aware of your insurance company's decisions and delay, and you seemed to be pleased and not disappointed at all.

We appreciate your candid repsonses to this survey. I agree that a more robust update system should be implemented. We have entered this year of unpresidented delays with insurance companies processing claims. We truly have no point of contacts since they are assigned virtually the day the person gets to it in their cue. When we question why it took so long they tell us they got the assignment today. They are people all over the US. In previous years we had a local representive we could call on demand and get some type of response. We call now and they tell us you're in the cue to be reviewed. I am not trying to make excuses but this new dynamic has been very challenging for us since we can not give any intelligent answers to our customers and any date of anticipated delivery dates. We will as you recommend get the customer more involved in the claims process to at least let them know where the bottleneck of the repairs are.
