Never again walking into a Rick case dealership
I’ve leased 2 cars from this place and usually they are not the cheapest. Anyway, that’s a different story and for another time. I just walked out of the dealership today after returning a car which just had 3 months lease left by paying $1000!! This was a car which had equity and the car was in perfect condition. Absolutely mint Santa Fe limited 2021. Low miles. Just 23k miles in 33 months! Yes, as per books, my lease payout of around 1500 to close the lease. But when I discussed this with the dealer to close it few months early, they said it should be possible without any payment. It was supposed to take 10 minutes! But they fleeced me into paying $1000 before I walk out after being promised to leave the car and walk. As per the attached KBB VALUE, my trade in value was 26k(valued on 7.27). My lease payout was 25k. So I was $1000 in green. But when I went in there, I was given $24k was my car valuation and apparently the market had dropped!! This is a dealer that tries to pull in even the very last dollar that they can squeeze from you. Despite being a repeat customer for years, this is how one gets treated. This was the last ever payment I made to a Rick Case dealer and never going to step back into one again in this lifetime. A very disappointed past customer!!

Rick Case in Weston/Davie

This is how companies loss their customers.
Today 4-14-23 I had and appointment for a recall. I made this appointment in February.
I arrived @8am and guess what. No parts were ever ordered for my appointment.
Mr Danny Shannon (Automotive Service manager) told me in-front of everyone( so it’s recorded in their cameras). “Why should we order a part if we don’t even know if your showing up for your appointment “.
And he repeated again. My service person who was very polite, told him he checked and it was never, ever ordered.
Given I get text and emails weekly until yesterday, remind me if my up coming appointment. That So call service manager Danny Shannon said that they had the part for other customers that were coming but not for me. So how should I look at this, is he being prejudiced in some way. He most certainly doesn’t belong in his position. He had absolutely No place telling me what he said.
THIS is how you LOOSE customer completely. I have been Hyundai customer for over 15 years now.

I called 2 times rick Case in plantation . 2 times they hang the line on me
I am from Montreal ,Canada . Was visiting my girlfriend in Plantation. The motor of her Elantra is vibrathing too much .Since it has 70,000 + miles , it is due for spark plug change. Phoned 2 times to ask how much it would cost to do the job. Both times they hook the line on me. Sent a email , never replied!

Worst dearlship full of typical scams
Went there today with my friend Olga to buy a car. Arrived at 1130am and met with our assigned salesperson. However all he did was answer all our questions with a negative answer: i.e. No I can't do that, No I won't trade with them, No I won't show you that, No you can't use your own credit union finances, No u have to buy GAP insurance...We finally got up and left. We drove to Braham Hyundai in Miami, found the same car, at a better price, use our own finances and no mandatory GAP insurance.

The service manager and office were great, however, the mechanic didn't do a good job. After a day or two, I tried to use the water squirter on the windshield wipers and it didn't work again. Now we have another appointment to return and do it all over again.
