Go to Any Other Hyundai to by a car but DON'T GO TO RIVERHEAD! Mark Hertzovitz in Sales, Tommy the General Manager, Ken and Kyle in Finance are all a bunch of crooks and they're incompetent as well. Kyle in Finance screwed up all of my paperwork and wrote the the wrong address on all of my documents/contract. Therefore I couldnt pay my car loan bc the account number for my loan is supposed to be mailed to you. I'm still waitng for them to fix this issue... I had to seach online for 4 hours trying to find my banks loan officer, so they could give me my account number. Go to any bank instead of Riverhead to get a loan bc they will jack up your interest rate. BUYER BEWARE! THE WORST SERVICE!!

Horrible!!!
2 bad experiences here. First, I scheduled service a month in advance. When I show up there are 20 people there and they claim there's an emergency and told me to reschedule. I took a day of from work for it. Second, just went to buy another car and the salesperson Mark blew us off and was kinda rude. He never introduced himself and walked away when I said I had questions. Very rude and he never once smiled and acted like we bothered him. I'm so glad I got my new car from Hyundai 112 instead. Those guys know what they're doing. Riverhead sucks and the other salespeople are lazy and walk away when you ask them to check stock. If you don't like your job quit! My brother was going to get a car here due to their large inventory but their nasty, condescending, careless attitude is ridiculous. You obviously don't need the sale! Any other dealership is better than this hellhole!

Absolutely TERRIBLE SERVICE
2nd car I leased from Riverhead Hyundai and it will be my last. Leased my 2nd vehicle on Memorial Day weekend 2024. On June 1st my payment for my 1st vehicle was automatically taken out of my bank account even though I no longer owned the vehicle, Hyundai owned it. When I tried to get my money back Hyundai finance told me it was Riverheads responsibility as they owned the car. I repeatedly ( at least 6 times ) tried to call and talk to the so called manager TOMMY AND HE NEVER RETURNED MY PHONE CALLS. I would never buy another vehicle from them again. Honestly I would probably be a customer for life if they would have treated me right instead they’ve avoided me like the plague over 179 dollars a big company like Hyundai should be EMBARRASSED THE WAY THEY TREAT THERE CUSTOMERS. ONCE THEY SELL YOU YOUR CAR THEY WANT NOTHING TO DO WITH YOU. BEWARE

Gratitude
Simply put, an extraordinary experience: salesman Mark H. Is an ambassador for the dealership in every conceivable positive way; Vinny P. Is the General Manager, very knowledgeable and accessible. Service is A plus; completed means completed well. Parts. Parts has a comprehensive inventory and knowledgeable staff. Finance is well anchored by Tyler, who handles the completion of your sale or lease with aplomb.
Riverhead Hyundai is a 5 Star dealership. Really!

Criminal Dealership
Let me start by saying I have never left a bad review on a business in my life but these criminals deserve it. Please Read.

I purchase a used truck from Hyundai riverhead a little over a year ago now. At the time the I was in need of a vehicle and the market was tough so I was extremely desperate to jump into something. After weeks of looking I saw what seemed to be a decent deal. After talking on the phone with them and confirming price and availability, I drove down their to discover price doesn’t reflect the $2k down payment. That, and they didn’t even have the truck on the lot. So off the bat they lied to me on my first two questions. When the truck finally came in I got a call and once again drove down there just to see a massive dent on the side driver door. Sales guy points me in the direction of another truck and after 2 more trips down to Hyundai Riverhead I was able to leave with the truck. Oh and don’t even try to put more than $2k down, they won’t let you. So now a year passes and I come across another truck. Decided I’m paying too much and want to get out of this one. I began calling used car dealers to see if anyone would be interested in purchasing my Silverado off me. First call I made I get a ridiculously low offer. Now I understood that the car market came down a bit but the offer was ridiculous. I came to find out that my truck was in two accidents prior to me purchasing. One of which was severe and the truck was towed away. I immediately called up the gentleman who sold me the truck and his response to the matter was “sorry we have no clue about vehicles history when buying it from auction”. Funny how he was so sure there were no accidents when I asked him at the purchase but now he has no clue. This is just a lie. I asked to schedule a meeting thinking that they would be able to work this out with me because THIS IS FRUAD. Lying to me about vehicle history is FRUAD. When making a point of this in our meeting, I was put at blame for not asking for print out of the car fax. Because I took the salesman’s word for it I was now at blame. They then appraised the car and told me they would only take it back as a trade in because it was a 2016 and not a 17. On top of that their trade in value on the truck wasn’t even better than dealerships that were offering cash. You would think they would work with me a little to try to resolve this issue but nothing. All I got was some laughs and a “go ahead” from management when asking if I should wright a review about the place. So hear ya go buddy! This one’s for you!

IF YOU WANT A DEALERSHIP THAT DOESNT BACK THEIR CUSTOMERS AND LIES STRAIGHT TO YOUR FACE THEN HYUDAI RIVERHEAD IS THE PLACE FOR YOU!

My Wife Jean and I were very satisfied with we were both treated by Mary and Holly. We always have our 2011 and 2021 Sonatas serviced by Riverhead Hyundai because of the honesty we receive from Mary on what repairs are needed.

Mary will tell us what service is is do and what service is recommended in the future. There are some things that can wait to be serviced in the near future. I also liked the New car service to take the Customer home, if the wait time is excessive. Good PR.
