Brought my jeep back alive

I contacted S&C about seeing if they could revive my 2004 Rubicon . It had been sitting for a good 7 years without being used. I was very impressed with our initial meeting. A good feeling was there after seeing the facilities and meeting the technicians. This job required good troubleshooting skills and patience. They went above and beyond in their work. It was a pain I'm sure, but they got it running and performing well. Enough can't be said about the communication and updates as they worked on it. Excellent. I got a call today from them following up and making sure I was happy. Many thanks to the S&C crew. I appreciated you help very much

Excellent Service

I needed my jeep fixed. Wasn't running right, wasn't sure what the problem was. I also was having some brake issues. Couldn't get in to my normal go to mechanic for another week and knew I couldn't wait that long as my son needed the vehicle to get back n forth to work and school. My son had heard about this place from a friend so after looking up the reviews I agreed to go here. So glad I did! These guys are amazing. They diagnosed the problems and it was fixed at a good price. They kept us informed along the way including pictures. Customer service here is top notch. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a good mechanic. They have my business from now on.

Best of the best

Tom and Jim at S&C are the real deal. I am somewhat of a car enthusiast and I’m particular about where I take my vehicles for service. I was on the search for an honest, skilled and affordable mechanic. That is exactly what I found with Tom and Jim at S&C Automotive!

I first called in and spoke to Tom about a pre-purchase inspection on a 4Runner I was looking to buy. When I spoke to Tom on the phone, it felt like talking to an old friend I had known for years, and someone that truly cared about my vehicle.

He gave some great advice over the phone, and I decided to bring in my vehicle for him to take a look. Tom thoroughly inspected my vehicle and answered my questions along the way. I walked away with a much greater understanding of my vehicle and it’s condition as well as things to look out for. I was really impressed with Tom’s attention to detail and how he really took the time with me to address my concerns. I knew after that great experience that I would be taking my vehicles to S&C for any future needs.

A few months later, I was in need of brake service (one of the things Tom had pointed out to me to look out for in his initial inspection).
My front brakes were grinding and new Rotors & Pads were needed. Brakes are a common issue on older Toyota’s, especially 3rd Gen 4Runners, so I employed Tom to do the “Tundra Brake Upgrade” on my ‘02 4Runner which upgrades the Calipers, Rotors and Pads to a larger size and allows for better braking (not to mention they look real good too).

Tom was more than happy to help and sent me updates and pictures along the way while doing the repair/upgrade. I was so impressed with not only the quality of his work but also the communication. He had it turned around quickly, and I was back on the road in no time with smooth new brakes that felt way better than my old ones that were on there before.

I feel so fortunate to know Tom and Jim as my trusted mechanic. They are highly skilled, honest and they stand behind their work. I will only be taking my vehicles to them going forward. Their affordable rates and customer service are just icing on the cake.

The Best!!!

Replaced transmission in my van. This shop was a life saver. After calling several shops all a month+ out I was starting to panic.. Decided to call 1 more shop (because renting a 12 pass van is a challenge in itself) never mind the price. He had my van back to me in a week!!! Very professional, prompt, trustworthy and reasonable.. Will deff use this shop for all our future needs. Highly recommend..

Fix our AC

We needed our AC fixed. Found S&C and got on their schedule. They had to figure out first what was wrong and then fix it. Everyone was polite, knew their stuff and got our antique back to us quickly for a reasonable price. Thanks guys!
